Urban Search and Rescue Communications Specialist Training 2015

Urban Search and Rescue teams from around the country learn the fine art and the skills of communications. Communications is very important and it's something that FEMA relies on from the point of departure to completion. Students in this course learn how to go into an area that has been completely devastated and bring a temporary infrastructure of communications equipment which would include voice video and data. The success of the task force relies on the use USAR Communications Specialist to be able to quickly and effectively deploy this equipment. All aspects of the search and rescue mission relies on and starts with the communications specialist providing that support to their task forces.
