Your dress reminds me of the fashion during my university days, but with much looser fit and culottes pants. Such panels were in very much fashion in early 90s. In fact, I have kurtas made with upto 24-36 panels, by adding smaller panels in upto three sizes. And this was for daily University wear clothes, leave alone formal wear.
You have a good sense for designing your clothes within a reasonable budget.
Your designing videos remind me of my youth days, as I never bought or wore ready made clothes. All my clothes, even today are from scratch. I try to do most of my sewing for myself and my daughter.
But, due to reaction of Covid vaccine on my heart causing inflammation, it's becoming a bit difficult now, as I have lost strength in my body, especially hands. But, your videos are a delight to watch always.
