I just had to comment, I have been watching several makeup videos in search of new lip products. However, most videos have been extremely challenging to watch, as many are from Instagram models and influencers who are just doing trend videos while sporting a very unrealistic, unnatural look. Thank you Adrian for providing a thoughtful and articulate review that is both helpful and relatable.

Revlon has some amazing glosses and lipsticks. Smokey Rose is one of my all time favorite sheer lipsticks. I tried one L'Oreal plumping lip balm and I absolutely hated everything about it including the packaging. Thanks for sharing!
Good choices in color,they all looked good on you.Too bad about the scent and irritation. I want to try the glosses,and I agree about that formula in the clear containers,they are really nice.
Unfortunately, they are discontinuing the Color Riche Shine Lipstick. My drugstore (in Canada) had them on clearance for half price. I'm excited to try the new formula especially since the scent is like YSL.
Hey Adrian! First time watching! The subject of strongly fragranced lipsticks like L'Oreal's entire product line drew me in. I've boycotted L'Oreal and Physician's Formula entire product lines for many years because I never know which products contain offensive fragrance and which ones don't. I wont spend a bunch of time getting excited about a new-to-me product only to have to return it when it upsets my sensitive, rosacea-ravaged skin. You'd think (or hope) a huge company like L'Oreal could find a way to trade the fragrance for a reliable, mineral-based SPF - and this change could work for all products. They could make more money from sister product lines for those of us who enjoy shopping in person and would be pleasantly surprised to find these items at our local drug and discount stores. I know some of L'Oreal's complexion color products contain chemical sunscreens, but it's the physical, mineral-only sunblocks that are so valuable and important for anyone with aging skin. I've had BCCs removed from my face and shoulders, and it's not a process I care to repeat. I'm 62 and have found several trustworthy and affordable products within Maybelline and Neutrogena brands. I love your style of presentation, so I'll be back! Thank you for all your energy and focus!
Welcome Cathy! I’m so happy you found that useful. I try my hardest to mention fragrance because I know that could be a dealbreaker for many. I have found I’ve grown so much more sensitized to fragrance as I’ve gotten older. Funny you mention Physicians Formula - they were a favorite of mine for so many staple products but just last night I was reswatching some butter blushes I had of theirs and my skin became immediately itchy and red. You are right that these large companies should do better! Right now I’m in the midst of a 30 day lip challenge where I do mini reviews of a lip product a day… you might find something that catches your eye. Thank you for your note💕
Well welcome aboard! For glosses, I am really loving the Flower CBD Chill Out Glazes. For something more balm lipstick like, other than the original L’Oréal Shine and Revlon Shine that don’t cause me any trouble, I also like ELF’s Sheer Slick … not the core one and not the ride and die balms, I have reactions to both. 🍀🍀🍀

I just seen another video of a woman saying that she is disappointed because they say they are safe but it has a lot of ingredients that are not good for people with allergies 😢
Not surprising. I’m growing so tired of brands not doing better in this department. Like Physicians Formula, it was created by a doctor for his wife that was allergic to almost everything in makeup, now I’m running into some of their products that cause irritation too. I wish there was more accountability😔

Some balms dry my lips out so bad, thank you for the review will probably need to stay away from this balm.
