RIP Brock RIP Hulme All the greats racing like a super star list lol ,Group A was great even the Perkins VL was doing good,At the time Gibson Motorsports had the fastest most reliable GTRs anywhere, they were Aussie developed with a lot of Aussie parts and know how as he was not happy with the Factory Nissan/Nismo parts that didn't handle the stress of the Mountain and the heat lol dunno bout that rain
yup, it has been blocked worldwide by V8SuperCars due to copyright unfortunately. One of the reasons it has taken me so long in the first place to get it up, but unfortunately it is a no go :(
leighton pretlove yep, it is kind of annoying, but I guess that is life. If they feel as though it is a copyright breach I can't do anything about it unfortunately
Other than the Nissan, the BMW is almost ideal and doing well. Heavy rain plus fog across the top of the mountain, could road conditions be any worse?? Conditions are very bad, Poor visibility!! The Ford Sierra with 600++hp would be a handful in such conditions, the M3 would good also the 4WD Nissan.
Atcc had probably the most unrestricted and competitive group a in the world at that time. Every car coming out of Australia was far more superior because they had the best private company's to work on them with less $$$ restrictions. They had the most powerful Sierra cosworths by far and the best skylines in all of group a including the dr30 and r32 gtr. These Australians were and are still monsters at tuning.
Also at the time they didn't have much experience with 4wd. When they saw what their own can do with 4wd, it had to be stopped. It was more experimental and they learned a lesson.
God Bless the person that uploaded this race!
The best ever Bathurst 1000, 1992 back when it was mans game

1:59:45 it would be hard for Larry Perkins to try and get a draft. The R32 Skylines were that quick!
