First of all, my dude, this is a perfect guide, exactly what I needed, not some BS whole article on some BS website that only gives a screen shot. I had my ring of omens bugged followed your guide and it worked, please note I had 15+ bloodstones in my bag, I read somewhere that you need minimum 15 so not sure if it played any part

Okay so here it is. I've had the fake red moon where all the work went to shi and hatch wouldn't open.. Had to reroll on adventure mode until cathedral came up again. After that I progressed through until it showed again. I killed that big root thing root nexus by the checkpoint and proceeded to go in and out through various dungeons and back to root nexus fast travel (takes you to faithless thicket). That's when the blood moon triggered and I walked back to omens. Omens was in blood moon after that and I performed the steps in this video exactly to get access to ring. IMPORTANT... DO NOT SKIP OPENING THE FIRST DOOR. I hope this helps and good luck on your dash evade progress ;)
Unfortunately if you are doing this in adventure mode during a blood moon it does not open the door. It sucks lol. Good guide though dude. Thank you for your help.
just to make be clear and concise: Blood Moons are triggered once a flag has been set by 2 Hours 48 Minutes 15 Seconds (real world time). Do not bother teleporting in and out, you'll be wasting your time

I have slogged through this game and never got to the Cathedral of Omens. I was in the chimney and was farming to level the explorer. Of course people tried to join and they had to watch me farm. An old friend joined (haven't spoken to him for years) so I finished the chimney. Two dungeons later we came upon the Cathedral of Omens...with a blood moon. This idiot began pulling switches at random so I made an executive decision - hard reboot and play offline. Screw that guy. I needs my precious. Luckily, due to your guide, I got the ring and the bow. This proves that friends are overrated and they will either knowingly or unknowingly thwart your best intentions at every opportunity. But I have my precious ring, and while it may attempt to kill me as I evade one shot mechanics, at least it is consistent. It is now my new best friend.
Guess what, finally found it, and it's on the DLC, and just found out, it can't have blood moon events. Please add that into a pinned comment to avoid future disappointment😅@@sofasupastargaming

Wow this is quite literally the best Cathedral of Omens video I’ve ever seen! Everyone else is either silent 🤫 or say too much and your still lost. Just simply follow how many times you have to pull the levers each time.
Amazing guide. Short, precise and EVERYTHING you need to know. Especially the "change clock to spawn blood moon"... Watched so many videos where ppl just teleport back and forth, hoping to spawn it. Did so yesterday for 30 minutes, didn't get it once. Had 2 areas today, tried the clock-tactic and got a Blood moon within 2 minutes in each area!
Did you change the clock while in game or exit then change it and what time increment did you change it ahead? (nevermind ended up exiting game and set time hour ahead and got blood moon, was bugged though and door didn't open)
@@Tricyclthief you dont have to leave the game. Go back to ward13 or to the previois area through the yellow gate(faster than porting around), change the clock by 30 or 60 minutes and after 2-3 tries you're good to go
@@mikevakoff8330 Thanks, I ended up getting the blood moon to spawn after going 1 hour up but my door was bugged and wouldn't open. I did try in adventure mode and from reports on the discord, it looks like this is a known issue :(
Dang it! I've solved the Calamity and the Blood Moon and then I left, didn't have a single thought to try the last one LOL. Now I have to reroll to find the bow
thank you for the guides! you have been extremely helpful. I will opt out of getting the platinum on this game. The first one wasn't so bad, it was still luck dependent, but the second one takes it to a whole other level. You have to get lucky to get the blood moon, then you have to get lucky and get the cathedral of omens, and even then, people report the door not opening. This plus other 20+ super luck dependent trophies I just can't.
I have had 3 bugs so far stopping me from getting loot .. 1 was an item i'd been working towards for around 8 hours and when I went to collect it it opened up an empty box.....definitely wait on trying for those trophies currently👍

I think it's a bug in the game as some people I've spoken to have above that and it still wouldn't open they still have quite a few glitches in the game unfortunately
@@goldndragn4528You have to have at least 15 blood moon essences in your inventory or it won't open. You get them from shooting the purple wisps of light flying around Yeasha when there's a blood moon.
Interesting that the second door, for me on the PS5, didn't open the floor in spite of it being a blood moon. There's ambiguity about it being a blood moon, I'd waited to do the puzzle until I got one. Edit: Apparently, there's a bug where the blood moon trapdoor won't open in Aventure mode.
@@tarod1453 Yeah you need 15 blood moon essences on your person and it needs to be a blood moon. If you do that and you do the puzzle right and the door opens it should work.
@@steviebob4 Yes, I had 40+ essence on me. The problem was adventure mode blood moons are bugged. You graphically see the blood moon but it's not actually one.

I think it's a visual bug from what I've read where in the temple it shows a blood moon, but that's not the case for the world. Verify blood moon through other means then do the temple.

Lolz I was respawning for 30 minutes til I gave up and did all the puzzles. Something told me to go back after I got the loot and behold I had a blood moon XD. Got that secret loot too
This doesn’t always open the trapped door so maybe it’s a bug. I see the red moon and have gotten the door to open on my other character but the door won’t open for my second character even when it’s a blood moon
Guy's it's not that. The moon needs to be in a certain place. The black triangle point needs to be pointing the door with the red door in the floor. There is one more thing. I seen it in a video. That is why you can't get that red door on the floor to open up.
Would be nice to understand the solutions. I got the first door on my own but I had no idea how to do the 2nd and 3rd. I got the triangle part but I didn't understand what shapes were needed.

I think the game has a bug in it currently as I have had quite a few people saying the same thing recently some says it's if it wasn't done on the first time at this instance it can bug out looks like the devs still have a few things to fix still in game unfortunately

First, does it reset if you already unlocked one of the doors ? Second do you have to follow it this way specifically cause i opened the second door that you did first .
Thanks for this easy guide. I did the blood moon in the sky, all pink mist inside but while the door opened for the chests, the secret floor panel did not open? Went back out and moon was still red in sky. so maybe glitch?

FYI guys, you don’t need to have 10/15 blood moon essence with you to unlock the secret door. I had only 1 with me and was able to unlock the door and get the ring. Had to die and re-enter the dungeon a couple of times before the blood moon was spawned. Thanks for the guide man! Helped me in getting the omen ring! Cheers! :D
@@romankovbasniuk1826 I’m not sure about blood essence. I mentioned this because I saw some comments that you need 10-15 blood moon essence but I was able to get it with just one essence. It could be possible that we actually don’t need any blood moon essence at all, but again not sure. Maybe I’ll try this in my current playthrough.
fyi, did this on adventure mode, after 2 hours i finally got the event up but the door is not opening so that still seems bugged... maybe in campain mode it works Edit: So i started rerolling campaign instead and made sure i had 15 blood moon essence in my inventory (dont think it matters but i wanted to be sure) until i got the Cathedral dungeon with blood moon event up and it worked. So dont do this on adventure mode and maybe get 15 essences just in case aswell before u attempt it, hope it helps
I had 8 blood moon essences on me when I did this puzzle with a blood moon in the sky. I could NOT unlock the floor (is it because when I was co-op that I got the omens ring? but we hadn't done the rest of the puzzles I think so I still got the achievements for the first and third puzzle but got no notification on the second puzzle.) Any idea what happened? I was hoping to get those free blood moon essences. Still, I appreciated the clear and easy to follow instructions, along with the number of times to pull each level on screen was super helpful.
You have to go back to the checkpoint stone and travel in Yaesha and back to the Cathedral of Omens about 4 times or until you see blood moon. If you don't do it on a moon you don't get the trapped door.

For some ppl the secret door won't open. You will need atleast 14 bloodmooon orbs in your inventory in order to open it.
I think it's a bug in the game as some people I've spoken to have above that and it still wouldn't open they still have quite a few glitches in the game unfortunately

FYI you can just walk out the entrance and back in, you dont have to go back to Ward 13 if you want to try to get the blood moon.

I did it before a blood moon and it didn't open, then I left came back after a while, had to read the first and second a blood moon then it worked

This doesn’t always open the trapped door so maybe it’s a bug. I see the red moon and have gotten the door to open on my other character but the door won’t open for my second character even when it’s a blood moon
I know I had the blood moon also and that floor door didn't open for me as well.

Guy's it's not that. The moon needs to be in a certain place. The black triangle point needs to be pointing the door with the red door in the floor. There is one more thing. I seen it in a video. That is why you can't get that red door on the floor to open up.
You have to have 15 blood moon essences in your inventory as well.
Would be nice to understand the solutions. I got the first door on my own but I had no idea how to do the 2nd and 3rd. I got the triangle part but I didn't understand what shapes were needed.

I think the game has a bug in it currently as I have had quite a few people saying the same thing recently some says it's if it wasn't done on the first time at this instance it can bug out looks like the devs still have a few things to fix still in game unfortunately

Very new to this game, if you complete the puzzles withOUT the blood moon.... How does one get another opportunity to get the ring? Re-roll?
yes rerolling the adventure mode then you need to have the instance again👍

First, does it reset if you already unlocked one of the doors ? Second do you have to follow it this way specifically cause i opened the second door that you did first .

Thanks for this easy guide. I did the blood moon in the sky, all pink mist inside but while the door opened for the chests, the secret floor panel did not open? Went back out and moon was still red in sky. so maybe glitch?

FYI guys, you don’t need to have 10/15 blood moon essence with you to unlock the secret door.
I had only 1 with me and was able to unlock the door and get the ring.
Had to die and re-enter the dungeon a couple of times before the blood moon was spawned.

@@romankovbasniuk1826 I’m not sure about blood essence. I mentioned this because I saw some comments that you need 10-15 blood moon essence but I was able to get it with just one essence. It could be possible that we actually don’t need any blood moon essence at all, but again not sure. Maybe I’ll try this in my current playthrough.
@romankovbasniuk1826 you actually don't need any blood moon essence you just need a blood moon to be active for the door to open!!! Hope this helped.

fyi, did this on adventure mode, after 2 hours i finally got the event up but the door is not opening so that still seems bugged... maybe in campain mode it works
Edit: So i started rerolling campaign instead and made sure i had 15 blood moon essence in my inventory (dont think it matters but i wanted to be sure) until i got the Cathedral dungeon with blood moon event up and it worked. So dont do this on adventure mode and maybe get 15 essences just in case aswell before u attempt it, hope it helps
I had 8 blood moon essences on me when I did this puzzle with a blood moon in the sky. I could NOT unlock the floor (is it because when I was co-op that I got the omens ring? but we hadn't done the rest of the puzzles I think so I still got the achievements for the first and third puzzle but got no notification on the second puzzle.) Any idea what happened? I was hoping to get those free blood moon essences. Still, I appreciated the clear and easy to follow instructions, along with the number of times to pull each level on screen was super helpful.
The floor didn’t open for me
You have to go back to the checkpoint stone and travel in Yaesha and back to the Cathedral of Omens about 4 times or until you see blood moon. If you don't do it on a moon you don't get the trapped door.
Note its bugged on Adventurer mode and wont open (blood moon)
