I'm about to buy this fragrance and I was looking up additional reviews. I have a sample and I get aquatic vibes in the opening but the dry down to me is deeper. I get Vanilla, caramel and jasmine. I agree that it has depth. It's not a freshie at all. I think it's going to be perfect for transitioning into fall. I currently live in the Pacific Northwest now!!
My thoughts on this fragrance have gone back and forth a couple times on this fragrance, but I think it really shined when I was visiting my family and we stayed on the Oregon Coast. It was in December so it was chilly and windy and the fragrance was just beautiful. Here in Texas it just doesn't really work, even in the dead of winter here it just doesn't fit the vibe, but I'm having a hard time parting with it, because I have scent memories attached to it now. I think I'll have to hold onto it exclusively for our Oregon trips.
@@melodyexploring9753 I totally get your thought process! I do feel like it's more of cooler weather fragrance and feels perfect for a chilly day. I was surprised to see everyone else was saying it was a summer fragrance. Lol. I was wondering what ever happened with it since you said you may get rid of it. Lol. Thanks for the update.
Hi sweet Melody, I just got this today as a blind buy. And I must say its a LOVE for me! It reminds me of Ralph by Ralph Lauren. But I do get what you are saying about it leaning masculine and reminding you of Axe body wash.
I'm so glad you love it! I grew to really enjoy it. However I am still struggling with when to wear it. The opening is very aquatic and reminds me of summer months, but the rich caramel base reminds me of fall/winter. Last December I visited my family in Oregon and we stayed at the beach and I wore it a ton. I think that was the perfect case use for the fragrance. It was a cold windy beach and the fragrance did so beautifully. Unfortunately I live in Texas nowhere near an ocean and during the summer this fragrance is way too cloying and in the winter I can't imagine wearing an aquatic scent. So I'm decluttering it and gifting it to someone I think will love it. I explained it in my most recent declutter video.
The box is beautiful and I absolutely love the stunning bottle. Unfortunately the more I try to wear it the more confused I am. I actually wore it a lot on vacation with my family. We went to the Oregon Coast in December so it was very breezy and cold and I felt like it worked perfectly there. The warm caramel and aquatic notes cut through the cold beautifully. But since being home it has just smelled so strong and pulled very masculine on me. I don't want it to go to waste and my husband has a cousin who loves mermaids and all things ocean/aquatic. She jokes and says she's a real life mermaid, she absolutely loves the beach so I think she might enjoy this more than I will.

@@CarmenScentrix yeah, I wound up keeping it. I was packing it up to declutter it and I mistakingly smelled it again and I couldn't part with it. 😂
