It’s fascinating to see the differences between UK and US in what you can source and what sells. Nice find on the Wii games. I wish you the best in your channel and your sourcing.
I love watching US resellers, more than UK ones really. Just because over there there's always something different to what we find here. There are a lot of similarities too. Many thanks for taking the time to comment, cheers :-)
Sad to say I recognised that Eagle transporter as being from Space 1999. Loved that show.....well I was born in 1956!!!! With a box full like that in the charity shop I'd buy it all. Then at home you have time to Google lens the lot! I'm sure it would be a valuable learning experience and good profit too. Happy hunting.
Thanks for watching. Yes I did consider buying the box, that is something I do quite often but there wasn't much of interest in there really from a reselling perspective. The condition of most things was really bad. Sometimes I'll just buy the lot and its really interesting to go through it all, looking them all up. I enjoy the lottery of it. Maybe next time :-)
Good video....it's good to learn what's worth lookin out for. I wish I could specialise in small stuff, I have a full room of stock...would be better if it were just a full shelf 🤪
nice vid mike, yes im just concentrating on getting smaller items now, even tho ive got plenty of big bulky items worth quite a bit, kids are starting to say that like the old man on hoarders
I'd have picked up the Eagle from Space 1999!. There was 2, one with a transport pod and the other carried little canisters of 'radioactive' waste. I think it had a crane to pick them up with on a magnet.
Might of been worth asking for the empty game boxes, or just give a small donation for them. If more expensive games the empty boxes with manuals will still have some good value. You did ok though chap. Nice haul.👍
Thanks for watching. I’ve asked there before and they have either flat out refused or get funny about it. I still ask if it’s a particularly valuable game or just pay the £1 and don’t say anything. I found a case and manual for a £80 game once there at the same shop and got about £25 for it. Well after 5 people bought it then cancelled it thinking it was the full game. 🙂
Yes sometimes if they can be a bit funny ,worth just paying what they want. 5 times really that's mad. Normally if I sell a case only I will message and say you do realise this is case only before posting. Some people just don't read the descriptions. But if I was after a game that was 80 quid and was 25 I would think to good to be true and make sure I knew what it was I was actually buying. Some strange folk in the world mate .I'll be keeping a eye out die-cast for sure, that was a great find, then to find out the missing part was in that box then to go back and get it . Awesome 👍
Isn't that funny, I have never seen a Dinky at a car boot in my life but I bought one of those Dinky 359 Space 1999 Eagle Transporters from a charity shop the other day for the collection for £50. Happy to pay it as it is mint in the box (box has some wear) - thought that was what it was worth (£50) but surprised that boxed in a similar condition they go for £150+. Good luck with the hunting!
Thats it, its mad the price some go for. Certain colours seem to go for better money. The white is the best I think but they are all pretty good. Many thanks for watching and taking the time to comment :-)
That spaceship was off SPACE 1999 in the 70's. It was called the Eagle. If you had the other bit its worth quitea lot.
Space 1999 must have been before your time , great show .Hope the rear rocket boosters wernt still in the box :)
I was looking for them and for the little canister things that come with some but didn’t find. But not complaining, happy with what I got 🙂
Great video man
Cheers mate, I enjoy your videos 👍
