Old Ghost has greater total elevation gain over a shorter distance and is slightly more technical in part, but both very runable courses. Personally, the views along Old Ghost are for more stunning and story behind the track build is quite special. Tarawera is the definition of stunning forest trails - two very contrasting terrains.
