- So finally gotten my hands on the asus X570 crosshair viii extreme. After 2yrs, funny when thinking about it. But for now sticking with x570s. Working on a new PC Build for a basement home theater setup wanna try the 7.1 that the motherboard has to offer.

Yeah! It's a great motherboard. With amd releasing new am4 processors later...keeping X570 relevant for a few more year. Especially for the extreme line. Where did you manage to find one? If you don't mind me asking?
x570 is still worth it... funny about the wife, lol keep it up! that mobo is a beast.

i run this Mobo with a 5950x and a Noctua NH-U12A cooler at 50% and up ...(manual set in bios ) and all noctua Fractile define 7 case ... and i must say its not loud at all ...
and cool ... maybe watercooling is cool but for my use its ok and cheaper with aircooling ... top one 140 inch in the from...one 120 out in the back top pannel ... 3 120s in the front ...and 1 fan in the back pannel ... so cpu is 1 set, back out / top out back = header 2 top and the frond 3 fans run on the Front fanheather on the front io of the mobo with some spillters ...curve fann for case fans 0 to 80=100% and its just perfect for me that way
i run dual gpu s ...and 3 m.2s 1 topslot and 2 on the top near the ram channel ... if you dont use the second slot you could add 2 more ssds at full speed... but i needed 2x 16 for the gpus ...
any way a nice setup ... and its powerfull enough for the price you can build it ...
btw dont run any apps from corsair or amd apps ...they just eat away things ... even apps that your running at boot .. .less is better ...
for running a benchmark youll see a big diffrence so close those startup apps ...
and i ran it with 4 slots of 128gig total... now i came back to 64 and its even better dont know why but 2 slots ( second and 4the look in manual) those are the best to set xmp oc ...
and the only thing i did was the cpu driver from amd website ...
got the same motherboard running it 11 months but notice there is a fault on the oled screen
Yeah... What's wrong with the screen? I will be setting up a test bench for it later.
@@theopszone6775 i notice lines running down the screen start malfunctioning only way to get it working is unplugged the power supply restart the pc works for a while and go blank with lines again not sure but i have reached out to asus uk they not willing to help saying my motherboard wasn’t purchased from a uk retailer but from a eu retailer so i need to reach out to asus germany

X570 extreme is nothing to complain about. New gen is just over priced hardware
@@Dean341 right! A motherboard that's capable in today's standards, with the expanding in the am4 line up. Give more life to the extreme x570.
@@theopszone6775 Am4 is very much alive and kicking. From b450-f gaming ii to X570 is very much what is needed with a simple bios update its opens up a way forward to upgrades throw a 30 series in it years of good quality gaming to experience
