Ryu seems to be haunted by that 1v1 lol Seemed like his only priority that entire game was jump on faker whether it was worth it or not.

Best iteration of the SKT roster, best iteration of any team in the world. Unfortunately no more, the moment MaRin left, SKT was going downhill, and LCK 2018 Spring shows it. Such a shame.

Still need to see, but I'm hopeful. We've not seen international performances yet, we don't know what Summer holds, we don't know how they'll do at Worlds (assuming they make it to Worlds.)
Keep in mind, 2015 SKT isn't just a single split. It was winning Spring and pretty dominantly towards the later stages, an unfortunate second in MSI, dominant win in Summer and then dominating performance at Worlds. We're talking about a whole year of literally nothing but SKT dominance across the world in 2015, and not just in one style, they dominated in every playstyle, whether it was the team fight, the split push, early game, late game.
Why do I say this? Remember 2013 SKT? Perfect split in OGN Winter 2013 after Season 3 Worlds, not only matches, but no games lost throughout the whole split, which is a feat yet to be matched across the world. Then the following split, OGN Spring 2014, they played so bad they had to play in NLB 2014 Spring and then the same in OGN Summer 2014 and had to play in NLB 2014 Summer. Do you even know how patronising it is to play in NLB? It was even brought up in the SKT vs Samsung "trash talk," that's how bad it is, it's a laughing point. The team was so bad they then went on to "reform" when the two SKT teams merged together for 2015. I quote "reform" because they were forced to do it, but in reality, it was pretty much disbandment of the team.
My point is, no matter how good a team performs in a split, it doesn't dictate the rest of the year. 2013 SKT ran a literal perfect split and managed to nose dive into NLB the following split. It wasn't even a slow decline, so it's way too early to conclude what 2022 SKT is like.
I have to give credits to H2k for having a pretty decent early game and being even ahead the first 17mins of the game. Europe is really stepping up compared to NA where CLG is struggling to win vs the flash wolves.

In almost every game, a 57 to 69 CS advantage is usually good according to the shoutcasters. When Faker is playing, they say it's "minute".

SKT not showing as much dominance as we thought they would have. Faker getting caught and them actually having a deficit in the early game. Higher level teams would be able to capitalize against that and snowball the game. A worrying trend for SKT huhu :P

Very different teamstyle by SKT this game. Give up gold leads for map control and better team presence.

+Justin Moua It was their standard playstyle, heavy priority on laning phase and minion wave control, focused on dragon control early instead of making big plays/dives. They always focus on map and minion wave control and early skirmishing, just like they did in this game. The only difference is H2K held on pretty well early game and managed to make a few good plays. It wasn't skt changing their playstyle more than H2K holding their own in the early game; they were still getting choked out little by little by SKTs map and wave control, and forced into a bad play that SKT snowballed off of. Even Monte and the casters said it was their typical LCK game.
Well, if ryu was ever going to 1v1 faker itd have been countering fakers choice as hard as had as he did with this leblanc against azir and still no dice, no matter how bad he wanted revenge and went for it, poor ryu :p

They played horribly. They were getting outplayed hard, yes, but why allow Marin to farm and push completely uncontested? He's using FIORA, you cannot allow that to happen.
