- When a drought strikes, children are often the most affected. In a desperate attempt to save their lives, they travel long distances on donkey carts to reach stabilization centers, such as the one operated by Trocaire. Once they receive medical care at the facility, they are referred to World Vision. Here, they undergo registration and receive cash and food support over a specific period. This assistance enables them to return to their homes with the aim of preventing further relapses.
