Very inspiring testimony, I pray and wish that seventh day adventist can adopt the Amish way of helping one another when anyone has a tragedy in their life! Coming together to help build a home or a barn in a short time instead of the selfishness that exist in most of the sda folks that move out the city. It baffles me how people who claim to have the truth, a last day, message can't see virtue in helping others. Is as if well, I got mine so you get yours on your own see you in heaven! This is not nice, we need to sacrifice time as Christ did to help others. True country living spirit will NEVER BE ATAINED without having and sharing love in a practical way!
Very inspiring testimony. This was especially interesting to me as my grandfather’s side of the family were all Amish/Mennonites and I am a Seventh-day Adventist. Thank you for posting this.
Brother Moses I truly enjoyed your testimony, I would just remind you that not everybody in the Adventist Church was born into the Adventist Church 'culture ' and that many have come out of the world, so I would just ask that you would give a little more understanding and Grace to the women who wear pants in church and in the world because it takes some time to get oriented to the Bible and what the spirit of prophecy says. I was 40 years old before I was born again and I was 44 years old until the Lord himself led me to the Adventist Church. I was totally immersed in the world for 40 years, so it is a long and difficult journey of sanctification for me , with regards to the removing of the layers of lies that I was living in. I just again ask that you to please not judge the women that don't look like you think they should look. I thank you on behalf of your sisters who are still being sanctified... We must all be very careful not to elevate what is culture and tradition to doctrine. God bless you and your family and your ministry.
Yet there are some who come into this message and embrace this truth whole heartedly and get mentoring and able to practice what they believe IN ERNEST, is not much time in this world for procrastination or to give time for sensitivity. I understand your point sister but Lot lingered and his wife was lost a pillar of salt! Yes we may come to conversion at different times, when the door of the ark was closed many had more time to be converted but it was FOREVER TO LATE!
@@BellozeCountry Happy Sabbath Roger... I wholeheartedly agree and I was quick to take off jewelry, stop drinking, smoking and every other habit I was engaged in. But my initial experience in the Adventist Church with regard to dresses was not necessarily a positive one, I felt they were too short too low-cut and too tight, perhaps I was making a judgment but I was not comfortable in a a dress and felt many times they were more sexy than wearing a pair of pants and I wanted to avoid being sexy, too many of the women wore high heels which I was totally not comfortable with ,so sometimes it works in regards to the honoring of God and sometimes it doesn't, just depends on what your background is. By the way 23 years later I still don't wear a dress, just not practical for me.
Moses, if you join a group you don't realize that there is only one church... (1 Cor 1:12). Nevertheless, you can learn to study in the original language at Hebrew Literacy. I don't believe the Adventist or one-day-only groups have the correct idea and miss the big picture. Apostolic instruction teaches us that one day may be precedent above another according to the religious tenets of some; and that every day may be regarded without precedence according to the religious tenets of others. The important matter is that the believer is fully persuaded in his own mind as how he chooses to think about precedence or non-precedence of days. A person who doubts or does not know why he does something is not enjoying life to its fullest; for God wants every Christian to be happy and confident: "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind" (Rom. 14:5 [INT]). A pitfall that a Christian is susceptible to fall into is judging another servant of God who may not think exactly the same as he does. How one may think in this regard is a God-given privilege, and no one has the right to despise a brother of a contrary opinion in this matter because God has received him. Paul gives a sharp reproof: "Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth of falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand" (Rom. 14:4 [KJV]). Also, "He who respects the day has the Lord in mind in doing so, and he who eats meat has the Lord in mind when he eats, since he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains has the Lord in mind no less, since he too gives thanks to God" (Rom. 14:6 [NEB]). A heterodox doctrine sprung forth due to the partial interpretation of the Scriptures by the professing students and scholars of the post-early church era. They failed to promote the grace and knowledge concerning the fulfillment of Christ in relationship to the third (depending on how you count it and from what text, particularly the Hebrew) commandment given at Mount Sinai. You may think I've miscounted but actually it was the way I counted it from a particular Hebrew text in this instance. However, you do not have to count it just as I have done, and I don't recommend that you do, but you should know that it may be counted in different ways under different observations. The Roman Catholic Church built into its religious tradition the observance of Sunday; and even though the Reformation hundreds of years later brought in many great theological developments and reproofs, the protestant churches didn't turn away from constraining people to observe Sunday. Many teachers, theological and secular, Christian and non-Christian, have fostered a misunderstanding for doctrine which is contrary to the grace of God for centuries in this aspect.
But Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments keeping the sabbath is about Jesus, He said He is the LORD of the sabbath. You use your opinion over the Bible.
Praying for you, Judy. Remember, Adventists have a right message for this generation, and their church is the remnant church that described in Revelation. God is with this movement. Ellen White, their prophet, said that Satan will work hard in this church trying to hinder its growth and will bring worldly practices inside this church. This is why you may be very disappointed and discouraged to see the sinful practices and worldliness in this church. Things will get really bad in the church, but ... when the Sunday Law will be issued worldwide, things will change inside this church. It will be purified. The world loving Adventist will be sifted out, and true God loving children of God will come in from all places, communities and denominations. There will be a manifestation of holiness that was only known in the times of apostles of Jesus. So may be you should not turn away from Adventism and give it an another try. It is easy to go away, but it is hard to stay and be the salt and pray for those who are going in the wrong direction. I pray, that God will lead you and will give you courage to follow the truth no matter how uncomfortable it can be.

Thanks so much Moses. My swiss ancestors were Mennonites
I would like to know the title of that prayerbook at 38:28. How can I get it? Thank you.
