These speed run playlists are the best way to learn openings. The previous Hippo and London speed runs helped me gain 200 elo. Thank you so much Eric and Aman!

Thank you very much for this speed run. I`m c6 player myself so I see a lot of useful ideas already and of course I am looking froward to see how better players will challenge you latter in the run.
Eric, i been watching Alex Banzeas Caro Kann speed run (which doesnt look like a speed run at all)...he takes the bishop with his bishop and thats what i did with not so good results but when ur opponent takes ur knight instead of your bishop,,,,,,,and i did the same...i have WON ALL THE GAMES played since yesterday. also its Amans rules Pawns, knights, bishops, rooks, queen for the captures in that order. Your Caro Kann is slaying opponents and thank you for coming out with the series. Wow.
@10:30 could you not have taken the knight on c3 with your rook, then his rook would take, but then pushing the pawn to e4 attacking the queen would open a discovered attack on the rook? edit: nvm doesn't work...
@chessbrah I fully respect playing a game out and not letting my clock run out, however at ~35 minutes, you had mate in 1 and proceeded to push your pawn 5 times, I think thats equally as disrespectful, deeming a clock run out as completely acceptable. Thoughts?
Love how you're talking to your opponent even though he can't hear you. It would be nice if chess sites could include optional audio connection for this type of instruction.
what i don’t understand is that while eric is the top canadian chess player and ranked top 170 player in the world and easily will someday win the world championship why is he slow rolling his 700 opponents and make a big dramatic scene moving the pieces slowly as he delivers check mates!!! also his exaggerated surprise every time they blunder i mean dude you’re 167 over seven billion donu expect low rated player not to blunder!!!
Cause it makes it more entertaining? And slow cause he wants everyone from the live stream chat to be able to think for themselves what move they would play.
If anyone is interested in explaining I, too, am wondering: Why do top-rated players play people in the 600''s? Are they starting at 0 and seeing how fast they can level up? And does that mean, at any given time while in a Rapid match, anyone, at any time, could be a pro? If they are doing it for education, then why not stream an equal match?
I'm 200 elo, and when i try to use caro kann i always messed up when my 200's elo opponent does some kind of random crazy position 🥲 while Eric's playing seems simple and easy 😂
"I'm gna play with my Bishop. At 1am you can't blame a guy for playing with his Bishop" - GM Eric Hansen.
Love how he still explains what he's doing even at around 600-800 showing he wants to actually provide education.
Probably most of the viewers are in that range so it makes sense
Wow its almost like he was explaining like it was the purpose of the video. Great observation 👏

Finally a series especially made for me. I play c6 against everything for years now. Thanks Eric.

I too have 200 ELO after the Hippo speedrun
"At 1 a.m. you can't blame a guy for playing with his bishop."
The way you talk while playing is actually very educational, literally dumbing down and explaining while you're actually just casually talking
Nice. Speedruns are so much fun to watch

Very high quality explanations. Thank you
Thank you for making these. I really appreciate it.
Hey guys your last 2 uploads are unavailable. Not sure if that was intentional. Loving the content as usual.👍
52:39 you both start with 8 in a row, meaning you have at least 5 connect 4s in pawns lol

Eric definitely wins most Canadian accent on Chessbrah
How do you always get the black pieces?
@10:30 could you not have taken the knight on c3 with your rook, then his rook would take, but then pushing the pawn to e4 attacking the queen would open a discovered attack on the rook?
edit: nvm doesn't work...
I didn't get why the guy was banned? Can someone explain?
these speedruns are the reason my opponent and I play with 91% accuracy at 1,000 elo lol
I think maybe the coolest thing about the Caro-Kann is that is sounds like a badass Ninja move, if you say it with the right accent
I laugh way too hard at SNIP 😂
this channel always doing speedrun with real chess talk, it is so helpful for beginners and intermediate, so different with half japanese guy 😅
What’s the opening song?
A lot more educational than play with Titled players! Thanks a lot!
the mind of a 600 😂
a blunder and a half~! cracked me up.~!!
Looking forward to these speedruns with higher Elo's Eric
Please keep making openings speedrun videos!
How long was that guy who asked to be banned, banned for?
Hey Eric, where the heck is the next video!!!

Awesome series!
divide the speedrun in two for twice as much content
First song title please ?
U should make more series like that
check their playlists, they've been doing speedruns for years
Could you consider changing background of the board to wooden like? Hate this green and white one.
People watching chessbrah and didn't know who Pooja is😅
@@Raulsta1985 only one mistake, ty mate😉
