I recently started playing Smash Ultimate and was excited to fight Marx! It awoken my past interest for the pink little jester, and since I love his theme, I wanted to make a remix of it.
I thought the official Smash remix would be more fitting to what I wanted to do. The original song from Kirby Super Star which is Marx's debut is cool too. I just love this more modern feeling a little more.
For the visuals I wanted to use the puppet pin tool to add motion for the bow and hat, it looked like shit at first because I don't know much about how to use it but I edited the eases and it became better, I did all of it in After Effects.
I hope y'all enjoyed the song! Was very fun to work on.

Oh wow, this is unexpected but the remix is great, I really enjoyed the sound effects behind the "kirby's triumphant return" section and the art is amazing ! It strikes a great balance between his cuter side (like in his star allies design) and his more menacing, creepy (and underappreciated imo) smash design !

The music & animation here are fantastic. Truly captured the essence of fighting my most-hated Kirby villain. Because Marx tried to screw Kirby over, and deserved every single plasma blast I have ever melted his jester face with.
