Surprised she covered this. However, her voice is so smooth. Those notes that Taylor hits are so weak & screechy. She does them seamlessly & actually how your supposed to do it. Then JoJo adds extra & makes the song something worth listening to. Just her voice.

Taylor Swift and Jojo are two very different singers there not even in the same catagory Jojo has a more soul pop, r&b, feel while taylor is strictly country pop. There is no comparison as well as Jojo has been doing this for a long time and has had alot of professional training to strengthen her voice

Taylor Swift needs to have a seat retire from actually being a vocalist and make hit songs for people like JoJo who can actually sing! Sorry Taylor im sure your a sweet girl but you also need to be more of a self awared person and leave the singing to girls with voices like JoJo!

Taylor is good at laying down the bones putting in the essentials. But ask her to vary her own music and it’s not there. The “Taylor’s version” re-release doesn’t have much, if any, vocal changes. Whereas JoJo did a lot of changes in her 2018 song re-releases.

I, for some reason, hate the original version. But I LOVE THIS VERSION! I don't know if it's just me, but when JoJo sings a song you can actually FEEL the emotion that she puts into it. Instead of just -cant u cccc- I had to do that to express the no emotion I felt when I first heard the original verison lol.

Well, it used to be Taylor Swift's.
Safe and sound is perfect on Taylor's voice--very soft and girly. But respect to both of them. Taylor's a really good songwriter--hit after hit and Jo's a mad singer with mad pipes. I think their voices express different feelings, I just prefer Jo's, but Tay's is cool too :)
