I like Moleskine and Field Notes, but I absolutely love the Leuchtturm1917 notebooks. Leuchtturm makes what they call 'Jottbooks' that are fantastic! They also make pen loops!
Nice collection. I used to like Moleskine a lot but I had to stop using them when I switched to fountain pens, as the paper showed a lot of bleed-trough... :(
Leuchturm has nice paper which does not bleed through and has similar thickness. That's the one I use most, togehter with Midori and Hobonichi (but these more expensive). Tomoe River paper is my favourite but that's more expensive. Most German-made notebooks I have bought are fountain-pen friendly even with thinner papers (70 gm2) as people use fountain pens a lot and they are not expensive.
i like them a lot to a very personal level, but they are low quality to my paper standards ...not to mention expensive for what they are; the moleskine planflet has more pages than the notebook itself
In terms of the price I tend to get all mine in TK Maxx (are you in the UK?) at a knock down price. You’re right about that pamphlet in the back 😂 of the A6 notebooks too 😂 and the paper is a little flimsy in them. But it does depend on what you use them for and what you write on them with.
Moleskine or Field Notes ? Or are they over hyped and you buy much cheaper?
I love people who are passionate about something. Cool collection. Keep it up.
Yo thanks for watching. more vids coming!
Great to see im not alone on the notebook obsessions lol
I think I'm going to make a short "origin story" video... 😁

I have recently bought some Leuchttrm also / they are expensive but superb quality 🤌🏼

So what do you use now? The small pocket Moleskine notebooks have very thin paper, but they are reasonably good value and ok if using ball points.

I like the herschel wallet idea! What size is the notebook that you put in it? Does the wallet come with the rubber band? Thanks!
Well I have a video planned. I couldn't possibly give away the contents just yet...
@@Tim2pointoh lol! Fair enough... I'll keep an eye out for it then!
