I was a little 👶 back in them days lol, but remember growing up sat in my old man's lap, sat on the porch as the road rallys passed. This was a first time for me seeing scruteneering and ceremonial start on a stage event, was awesome, and made me want to come out of retirement from doing controls on road rallying and radio duties on stage events, been away from the stages since 2019, miss the rally fam and the usual suspects (competitors)

It's the same here with the safety side of thing's and spectators, it's usually a few spectators that spoil it for everyone else by standing on the outside of the corners, I would of thought rallying would be popular there? I watch the dirtfish coverage off rallys over the pond.. Yeah the escort rally cars are very popular here with the stage rallying and the road rallying, I may come out of retirement with the volunteering work in rallying, I used to do 48 events a year with the safety radios on the stage rallying and controls on night rallying, rallying in the blood here 😂remember the days as a young boy watching on the porch with dad as the rally cars would race past the house 1am in the darkness, my favourite place to be is in the Welsh forests listing too the echo of the cars going through the woods ☺
