Your braided steel lines still have a polymer in them to make them air tight. The braided steel provides external protection, higher burst pressure and they look cool. The inner polymer is hopefully Teflon whose Tg is at 239F (the temperature where it gets soft) . Be mindful of the temperature near the headers. Preferably, rigid steel tubing near the high heat sources should be used.

Even when my f250 is down and no idea how to fix it after just rebuilding the turbos and putting on billet wheels and an upgraded actuator and my 97 gt looks like a turd and needs a procharger, fuel, and built and painted but I'm super broke and still gotta provide for my family. I can always get away from it all when I watch your videos!!! You may not understand it neither do I but it works!

(You're still losing efficiency if you have static boost per gear, i.e. 8 psi 2nd gear, 12 psi 3rd gear instead of ramping 8 psi into 12 psi by 3rd gear). Just make sure if you do vehicle speed, the speed is read from the front wheel, not rear.
