Both believers and non-believers can listen to John. They know he cares and offers the Best.
Those who don't fit in a church would be welcome where he is, without condemnation.

I've always believed it all belongs to God and even if I have 10 dollars in my account and I see someone who needs it I don't mind giving because I'd rather imagine another soul worshipping God then to have money in my account sitting for my own needs. God provides for me always in many different ways and not just material needs. I pray for the world daily for the hearts and minds of the world to be open to Christ's love and their need for God's loving guidance in hearts and lives. I don't have a lot of material goods but I have enough and I give through prayer first because I believe in the God who loves all people more than I ever could. Thank you for your loving voice in this world that truly needs it. You are an encouragement to me when I feel sometimes like giving up trying. We all need the refreshing message of God's love through Christ no matter how much we think we know God. Blessings in Jesus name! Amen Father! I love you O'Lord!

I live disability but I always give to the my Lord Jesus Christ. And if I've got money to spare and my son's need help I'd be glad to help them. But right now I'm struggling and I've got to fix my apartment up due to damage that my deceased dog had caused. I'm praying for a blessing. It's in God's timing not our timing. Please keep me in your thoughts please. Plus I'm going to through a lot of medical issues. They've found a mass on my left side of neck. IM praying for healing.

The Samaritan, he lived in the neighbourhood where the victim was robbed. He was cleaning up his own neighbourhood. He was blooming where he was planted. They say road safety is made up of the 4 E's: Education, Engineering, Enforcement, and Emergency Response. The Good Samaritan was part of the local emergency task force. He was taking care of his own realm.
A long time ago, I stayed at a rooming house which served supper as part of the price. The older couple were wonderful. But the wife drank. One time I came home and saw her on the kitchen floor. I said, Aggie, are you ok? And in a groggy voice, she said, yes. I said, do you need any help? She said, no. I said you are on the floor. Are you sure? She said, yes. So I left her on the floor and went to my room. Later after I left, I attended her funeral. A lot of people showed up. Later, her husband got remarried to a nice woman. He invited me to visit their apartment for some food. There, I saw him offer her beer. He kept egging her on, encouraging her to drink. I honestly didn't know what to think or say. I had little contact with him or people in his life. I was a young adult who had a hard time with my own life, let alone dig into someone else's complex life to solve his problems. It wasn't part of my "realm." I had no idea how I would begin to approach this topic with this man or his wife or his first wife. But since then I have been learning about how to communicate better, emotions, logic, negotiating, how to be a more effective leader. And the one thing I learned the most was that I need to keep learning about these things. That expands my realm, what is within my control, how effectively I can influence my community, what I can do for myself and for God and others. It's a lot of work. And I have so much more work to do.
There was a Good Samaritan research study which asked some seminary students to give a talk on the Good Samaritan, then after they passed by people who needed help with something, lifting something or something simple like that. Others were asked to give a talk on something else. They wanted to see if giving the Good Samaritan talk made a difference to their own behaviour. They said it didn't. What did make a difference is how much of a hurry they were in when they passed by the person needing help. But I think also what makes a difference especially with ongoing pressing concerns others need help with is how much we ourselves are trained in how to help, knowing what to do that will make a difference. We need to take the time to take that training.
