    This is incredible, and I think I got it. This little piece of the navigation system works where you plug in your frequency, the automatic direction finder (ADF) then literally points you in the right direction (based on that frequency) also relying non-directional frequencies (signals from many different systems all over), all mapping your path. In.sane! 😮😮😮

    Hello Doofer! You may remember me as V1 Rotate back in the day. I was a longtime follower of yours and remember continuously watching your videos. Unfortunately, I have been busy with life over those years, but now since I am in flight school I have found myself coming back to this channel frequently. Keep up the good work:)

    In real life, the ADF radio is also good for listening to AM radio stations

    What Flight Simulator is that? I’m looking for one that I can use to develop proficiency in a Cessna 182 with G1000. Any suggestions.? Capt. Darrell Tade- Civil Air Patrol

      I use Microsoft Flight Simulator X in most of my videos which has a C172 with a G1000 panel.

    Guys since you are here and i am guessing that you are true lovers of FSX, Dont you think that the level of realism in new MFS 2020 is bad? I mean I feel like it is a sim for novice players and it is NOT for experienced players, if a real pilot plays both games, he will prefer the old one, YES the graphic is amazing on MSF2020 but other than that FSX is way better. don't you agree?
    for example how many panels not working on the airplane? how many switches are "INOP" not functional!!!

    • @CaptainJadenAR
      @CaptainJadenAR 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I somehow agree with you. The physics in MFS2020 is terrible and aggressive. The addons are also short compared to a 2006 flight simulator.

    You need to know Morse code or just hear the fact that there is a code?

    • @Doofer911
      @Doofer911  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You do need to interpret the Morse Code to confirm that you have tuned into the correct radio frequency and you're receiving a signal from the station you expect to. Pilots usually have a reference card which allows them to translate the dots and dashes into letters. Morse Code is not a "language" pilots must learn.
