One dislike for the video....i was wondering how come he changed the display in 6min. Then i saw he knows nothing about electronics.....bro u were merely seconds away from frying up ur motherboard...display connector should be touched and changed after disconnecting battery connection from motherboard and after removal of battery pressing the power switch for 10 seconds to discharge any extra current from motherboard....feeling sorry for people who will follow this DYI.....CORRECT IT!!!!!
mostly it will work as long as the size screen are the same, and the lcd slot have the same number of pins... but i recommend you refer to the original part number of your laptop screen
Hello, actually my metal frame to the top left of the screen got bended and I think due to the compression yellow like brightness is being displayed if my screen is black.. any suggestions how to fix this
Well having a video is nice and a very helpful VISUAL aid, but there's no instructions and none of the tools or items used are named at all, like that tape used, so I'm kinda just left guessing. It would be bad to use the wrong material, like using painters tape on an electrical wire...
Ohh sorry for that... but most of the tools i used is just a basic tools, and the tape is a double sided tape, nothing special. i'm not good in english that's why i cannot elavorate what im doing. but just watching the video, i think you can follow, it just a straight forward process.
Thanks for the upload, I’ve got the g16 strix with the 165 hz panelen would it be possible upgrade too the 240 one ? And would it be possible to upgrade too the miniled version of the strix scar ?
Regarding the upgrade in screen i wont recommend it, its a trial and error process. I rather stick to the original part number of the laptop screen for replacement...
Do you know what is the serial or model of the screen . From. Asus rog strix scar 16" 2024. .. ... i broke it. And i dont know how to get the replacement. - i would like to get exactly the same (mini led 240hz )
