Annie-centric OVAs are my two favorite OVA. She's an amazing complex character who clearly isn't black and white and it says the same thing with how she sees the Eldians in Paradis.

Annie is obviously remorseful like Reiner in season 4. She clearly regret what she did to Marco and I believe there's good in Annie. She's a warrior with a mission to complete but spending 4 yrs with the squadmates (Armin, Mikasa, etc) probably made her realize that there's humanity in her. Reiner even criticized & questioned Annie about risking her own life to save Connie. That selfless act should count.
reiner was remorseful in season1 and 2 aswell, only difference is in season4 he had a quilty

The thing is she could relate to the case because don't forget that this case is about a father and his missing daughter. So she was interested in the case and related
Another thing is that Annie's case is a bit different from others warriors because she's doing this to fufill the promise she made to her father over all that is shown in season 1 and in the second part of this ova
I was so happy when I first saw this ova, because I love Annie so much :)

Annie's dry humor will always be funny to me. No one can tell when she's joking because she's so serious all the time.
Now that I think about it, watching these ova after s4p1 is the way to go. A lot more context is provided and you can avoid potential spoilers as well.

aaah hell yea, Annie OVA!! Probably my favourite of the bunch, which makes sense since Annie is one of my absolute favourite characters. I don’t know how to explain it well but I’ve just always felt a very emotional connection to her. Glad they liked it, and the ending song here is so beautiful, one of the best OSTs imo. Love the warriors ♥️
Finallyyy I've been requesting this since forever😩 This is where Annie is becoming such an interesting character since we don't get much of her in the series. We can learn about her personal motives as well and that's exciting!

I don't understand comments that say to watch this after Season 3, or even after Season 4 Part 1, have they been paying attention at all?
The marco flashback is already teased in Season 2 Episode 9 and besides that the only other reason to watch it after Season 2, which is the best spot to watch Lost Girls 1+2, is the strong hints it has towards the Colossal Titan & Armored Titan reveal.
Delaying it makes no sense at all and by telling reactors to move it beyond the end of Season 2 you miss out the connections that it sets up with Annie & Hitch in one of the first Season 3 episodes as well. Absolutely no idea why people spread this non logical viewing order.

As the boys mods, i would like to state that we have our own way/ flow and agreement to do things, and rest assure they are been taken care of. We are currently in the midst of S4P2 and so far the experience of the boys and the community has been great and wholesome. Sure as moderator we all have our own way to do things and hope you will respect that. Good luck with the moderator job. I understand it’s not an easy thing to do but i’m sure you doing great out there and good luck for their channel too. 😉
@@hisuchan Don't worry, my comment was more targeted at the comments that explicity said that they should watch it after season 3 or even only after season 4, it's just something I strongly disagree with as it doesn't make any sense to me, so that got me a bit agitated I guess.
