My father in law was a dairy farmer and had 60 with an orchard pipe and narrow front. It was a good old tractor. He used it for many chores from hauling manure to pulling wagons . I was always amazed at good he could back a loaded hay rack into the barn with that tractor. My wife’s cousin bought it from the estate along with a 1937 model B John Deere.

That clutch cover looks like it fits pretty well. Its good to watch them though. When i was a kid the clutch cover came off our A and took out my uncle's knee. Ended up loosing his knee cap. After that my dad pulled all the covers off our JDs....B, three As, a 70 Diesel, and my granddads R.

Oh wow, I’m surprised it had enough speed to fly into like that. Thanks for watching!

@LocustMotorWorks the tractor was under load on a feed grinder. Freak accident for sure. I doubt the cover was in tbe greatest shape either, lol.

I just found your channel, so great!! I owned a 60 back when our family had a small farm way up in Northwestern New Jersey, very hilly, almost mountainous. Just like you, I had a 45 loader for it, with the snow bucket. It was so nice to push snow with this, nothing ever was too much for it. One winter, it seemed we got snow almost every day, on storm was about 30 inches and blowing, but this always moved this much snow. I did find out, with our cold and wet winters, I switched out the normal spark plugs, for a much hotter range plug, I think they were D21's. Made a big difference with starting and running. The snow bucket was also great in moving large piles of wet leaves from our yard area, I just filled it up and went out to the woods and dumped them out, better than a leaf blower!!! For the battery, I got a large 12 volt Marine style battery, much more starting amps, and with below 0 temps we always had, it always cranked over and started. It was one of those tractors I regret ever selling!! Good luck with all these tractors!!!
