- Despite making up 80% of the agricultural labor force, Ugandan women have less access to, control over, and ownership of land.
And out of 20% of Uganda’s documented land, just 26% is registered to women, highlighting the disparity in land access and control.
So are you ENJOYING the property that you own? It's time for us to change the narrative 💪🏾

Her introduction sets the lively tune for the show.
As professional land surveyor, am surely loving this episode. As women we should truly be informed abt the rights we hv on land and property. Thanks bump love 👏👏

I most definitely enjoyed it. Thank you ladies.
Thank you!
I have seen firsthand the psychological impact of gender-based violence (GBV) stemming from land and property disputes. The new bill offers hope in addressing these issues, but it’s vital that alongside legal reforms, can we focus on community education and counseling support for both men and women. This will foster healthier, non-violent conflict resolution mechanisms that can significantly reduce the risks of domestic violence and its traumatic effects on families."
It's unfortunate the former world champion in mountain running Rebecca passed on in an underserving way RIP, but imagine the traumatic scar and other psychological concerns that has been left to her children?
Bumplove thank you for the insightful topic. Stay blessed.
I've watched this episode for 2 days banange it's an eye opener and it's sparked a serious conversation in my circle of girl friends especially those who are married and also our Jaja left a lot of land and my mom and sisters don't even say anything, hohoho access not ownership ayayayaya human rights muliwa 😂😂😂
And some people have ownership but don't have access. Yikes. It was a powerful conversation
Makes sense most “couples” put their properties in their kids names.
Thanks ladies for the conversation. Marriage is good and beautiful and the marriage partner we choose influences our destiny. Thus making a wise choice is wisdom. Besides our marriage partner we should choose wise friends. He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.-Proverbs 13:20
The day I think am among the first, and boom....a thousand ladies around already
Thank you Mrs Birungi and bump love ladies for these insights, knowledge is power indeed. I am now knowledgeable about my rights.
With Love from Bump love .Friday here we are.
No one is ugly, we are just different. What I know is that there is only one beautiful child and every mum has it.
Beautiful response
Commenting before watching because of that topic. As a woman who wants to ownnnnn everything property, am here... Because why not? We have a mandate to occupy, multiply and be fruitful 😊
Ladies thank you for this conversation. Documenting is one thing. Being with an evil partner is another. Even if the late was married legally he would have still killed her because so many women are killed by spouses- Domestic violence.
My advice to women if you sense your spouse or partner are capable of hurting you pleaseee pleaseee walk away. You can always rebuild or atleast go to court but most importantly stay safe.
And the problem with those men, is they do their best to lure these women back into that abusive relationship saying they have changed
It's beautiful,,,,how manuela stresses a vow before God and man, God respects vows,..........
Yes He does. I just wish we knew how seriously spirits (God is spirit)- takes vows. There are things we wouldn't do.
Bev. your intro is always on point. Ladies thanks for the show
Bev looking fly🎉❤
I feel when Friday comes, we are all checking notifications to check a new episode and be first to comment😅😅😅😅 thankyou for the topic, i think women should also own property personally and should be allowed to thrive, because in most cases, men die first, and if your woman isn't empowered, your children will miss out on the life they would have had with or without daddy. Empower her for your children 's sake❤❤
There needs to be a shift in the culture. Mothers have to do better in raising their sons to respect and care for women.
Sad story banange. That gal bambi. RIP.
Bev looks regal. I miss ur hair but this look is giving.
Thank you.

I most definitely enjoyed it. Thank you ladies.
Very educative episode 😊
Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
But you can't assume safety by keeping away from marriage. An abusive partner will always be abusive, even at the stage of mere dating. We have heard of guys at campus killing their girlfriends using knives etc and yet there was no property involved. So a bad person is a bad person at all stages
21:33 ❤ thank you Manuela.
Thank you
This was such a powerful session. Thank you Bumplove for enlightening us❤❤❤
Wife and husband work to leave inheritance for their children that should be the main objective.
ladies use those lawyers from time of conception of the idea of owning any kind of property either individually or in association with your husband, boyfriend, brother, sister , any kind of other person. if not lawyers use LC1 chairperson
Sad story banange. That gal bambi. RIP.
Bev looks regal. Ugandan laws or whatever you call them mbu u are visitor. Cheiiiiii
I miss ur hair but this look is giving.
Mrs Mulondo.thanks for acknowledging Holy matrimony.
The word Holy Matrimony...... woooooooow
Dorcus Nzukuru also faced domestic violence after she returned from the Olympics many years ago. She built her house and gosh her husband beat her up.
This is the second Kenyan Olympian who was killed by her lover.
Ladies there is a documentary on netflix about these Olympian women being beaten and killed by their husbands.
Let me watch it
As a mother having by children. There are women miss using these rights.
Good information here, however, killings are happening currently because many people have run to courts under these laws and bkoz the parties involved are not tought from the inside of them, they will use other means even when the bill is there, my prayer is that we parent the right way otherwise cases of proprty are filled up in courts and still due to bribery, no solutions are coming out.
let us nurture improved versions of human beings. Thank you
Some one i know was scammed by exactly what Ms Birungi is saying. Being raised thinking you cant handle land issues. Passing on them to a late husbands friend who scammed her.
I'm only 20mins in and I have a suggestion, now that women are owning land, how about we start passing land to our daughters? I'm a mother of only boys but if their dad is giving them a beautiful inheritance then I'd rather give my land to my grand daughter! Those shoessssssss, I should stop commenting on the shoes😂. I wasn't quick to watch this episode coz it doesn't feel bumpy😅 after watching a few minutes in I appreciate this knowledge, thanks ladies, Bev, keep that hair❤
I looooooooove this. How do I like it 100 times?
24:24 your lucky Mrs. I tell you i leave in fear i ever since I found out that my dad almost killed mum because of her property and now with the death of my auntie Judith over properties and the major suspect being the husband i fear and fear for my life to cause I am very ambitious and with God I believe i will make it. ..but i wonder if my fate will be any different. I worry ❤
I told her the same. But more importantly, I realised that it is possible
While marriage provides certain legal and societal rights and protections, I strongly disagree with the notion that the victim's cohabitation situation was the primary cause of the domestic violence she suffered. In reality, many married women have experienced similar abuse, despite having witnesses to their union, including family and friends. To truly address domestic violence, which affects individuals across various social classes and genders, we need a more nuanced and inclusive discussion. I hope the ladies on the show can bring this necessary depth to the conversation.
No one said cohabitation was the primary cause......even married women face domestic violence
🎉🎉
Could never be early enough 😂😂😂😂
❤
Do you women actually watch the show for sense or just for observing clothes. The comments show why things with women dont change. You are just focused on aesthetics. The content always skips you.
😂😂😂
I really want to come to the Annual Planning event! I first heard about it last year and missed it. Does the price cover boarding and meals? I guess if it does it will only be the night between the two days. Can you tell me what to budget for additional two nights? The night before and night after. Thanks
Hi! The price does not cover boarding. Please WhatsApp +256 702 064331 for further inquiries 😊

I think I am the fifth here😂
Hehe welcome!
There's nothing as dangerous as an emotionally/physiologically weak man. He will destroy everything around him to prove a point/ feel like a somebody. And when it's all been said and done, he is still a nobody, unfortunately. "You don't have to bash a woman for u to feel like a man.
The sad part is that the victims of that ,are in the village probably don't have smartphone or don't even know English
Am l the only one who thought r😢 it was the lady of property show Ntv
Been a direct victim
My grand father was given land by the uncle because he didn't have boys... The old testament misled them.
They didn't read the whole old testament. Tell them to read about Zelophehad's daughters
I thought i was the first but 600 already watched💀🥹😂
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
