I love how well they portrayed Wave in this series as a human being "too smart for his own good". Sometimes, when your IQ is too high, your EQ suffers for it. Wave is definitely the smartest student in the school and your can see how this affects his relationships. He doesn't seem capable of making friends or forming meaningful connections because his understanding of normal human emotions is a little warped. You could see it in how he honestly didn't understand why the teacher was mad at him when he just did what she asked him to do; and when he got mad at Namtaan for pointing out he wanted friends (making friends was the one thing he couldn't do, so he decided he didn't need that); and again here, when he was nonchalant about invading Pang's privacy. This last one wasn't him being an asshole, it was just his logical brain acting (we need this evidence, so I'm gonna instal the camera) where his emotional inteligence couldn't seem to realize the problem (he was crossing a line). Even though in this episode it was played for laughs, I truly do appreciate the consistency of his character. This series is SO WELL WRITTEN.
