I actually think it is the intent of the person watching more than it is about the content itself. For example, if someone is watching to get fulfillment they lack in a relationship, then it might not be healthy (better to have honest communication in the relationship to negotiate for including elements everyone wants). Whereas if someone is watching for healthier reasons such as exploration of what they are into and able to convey that in a relationship, then I believe that is better. The problem is when watching begins to negatively impact their life.

While exploitation is a big problem in the porn industry, the current state of it as a legal business does impose some controls against exploitation, these obviously need to be enforced and improvised. Banning porn would likely have the opposite effect and make issues of exploitation worse.

Pastor Kel, you’re leading Christs flock astray when you say things like this. The Bible doesn’t say anything explicitly about masturbaition but it does talk about sexual immorality, which is what masturbaition is. It’s bad because first you can create an idol out of porn and become addicted to it, and second because it IS sexually immoral, it’s a perversion of the gift God gave us, third and finally while watching porn you are participating in LUST which is more sexual immorality. Do NOT take the easy route out of difficult topics by saying “the Bible doesn’t say explicitly” ESPECIALLY as a pastor. All pastors have a duty to be a theologian to understand the Word and preach it, it’s sad to me that you’re telling people this is ok. Christian man to Christian man. I’ll pray for you tonight.

For me I was addicted to porn and I used to see it as fun with orgasm etc, but now 4 years ago it is no longer like that! I now prefer without it, porn is purely commercial, inhuman and immoral! It's like destroying the subconscious mind and imagination! And a completely unrealistic picture of the body of a woman and a man and orgasm appears from what it really is! When I began to educate and discover my body and my orgasm, my desires by myself, and also when I learned about the body of women and men, genitals and sex in a correct and scientific way, I stopped watching porn.

I have since I was 12 too. Now I'm 14. I don't watch it everyday but like rarely, I don't find it a big of a problem but I don't really think it's okay for me.
Honestly if you can, stop watching it immediately. You may not watch it compulsively now but best believe if you continue, you will end up watching pron several times a day at one point. Sad thing is that a lot of people realize this after they have already become addicted. Pull out while you still can. Save your future self.
