As a Pinoy living for a while here in Canada, I was surprised how Canadians carefully choose words to communicate. Here they use terms that will not imply a derogatory term as what we frequently use in the Phils like Overseas worker, for a Canadian its expatriate instead, developing country instead of third world. These positivity in communication makes a lot of difference in nation building. Maganda ang Pilipinas pero mas lalong gaganda kung gagamit tayo ng mga salita na may respeto sa ating kapwa.

Dto sa Canada 6 pm p lng wala ka na mapuntahan na malls. Mas highly urbanized pa mga cities sa Pinas though highly populated lng.Proud akong pinoy dto sa Canada. Other pinoy vloggers madalas ko din pinapanuod na gaya din cla ni Kulas!
Yes, only Filipino journalist talks that way. Kulas is more positive than this journalist. Can not even talk spontaneously, you are reading lady. Yet you can not choose the right words to use.

I agree with Kulas. We shouldn't call our Country as a 3rd world Country. Why would we call it that? We are a develpoing country.
Kyle has won the heart of Filipinos. Seems like Kyle broke soo many ceilings that day... you know it is extremely hard for foreigners without Philippine blood to acquire a Philippine citizenship. However, Kyle seems to be an exemption. Kyle made powerful connections and was even endorsed to the Senate and his attire was even tailored by a celebrity.
What I like about Kyle is he ALWAYS LOOKS HAPPY - that's a typical Filipino trademark. Congratulations Kulas! ❤

A foreigner being called "kabayan" by another Filipino, I think, is the highest form of compliment you can give to a naturalized Filipino. It's the word you wanna use when you say "I can't emphasize enough how welcome you are here". My kababayan.

Marami sa mga pilipino mas gusto manirahan sa ibang bansa kesa sa sariling bansa. Mas gusto nila wikang banyaga kesa sa sariling wika. Mahilig din sila bumili ng imported kesa sa sariling gawa. Mga politiko artista at may kayang magbakasyon sa abroad dun din nagsa shopping.

Interviewer’s questions are confusing… ANC, please refresh your interviewer’s grammar, especially in reference to tenses: “when you don’t have a job, and don’t know the culture” when it should be “didn’t” in reference to the PAST! This is international news!?! 🙄
One thing that kyle has not assimilated is pinoy frankness and openness...yun sagot nya sa tanong on dual citizenship....napakahirap magtake ng oath of allegiance sa isang bansa kung alam mong meron ka parin allegiance sa country of birth mo.

It's not 3rd world country. We are developing country. Our economy is larger that most of other country ranking 34th in the world and 15th in asia. Moreover most poor people live in slums are happier than in 1st world. Coz thier neighborhood is kinda boring to live with. Not lively. 🤣 They have nice house, car, big garden but they don't speak and know each other. I don't prefer living that way that's why I return to ph. It's just more fun and happy to live here.

He's a dual citizen because the Philippines does not require one to renounce its citizenship unlike Canada or the USA.
Incorrect, actually Philippines does require you to renounce your citizenship in order to become a Filipino. But I think for him they made an exception. And Canada and USA do allow dual citizenship I think you got it mixed up
Foreigners can obtain PH citizenship if born & raised in PH like the prominent Spanish Ayala family or if one of their parent is a Fil. which is not the case of Kulas he was granted PH citizenship because PH politicians liked his vlogs PH gov. is far from being impartial
