Another method I use is selecting strong onside, low kick, then you put the power right where the bar curves going up and go as accurate as possible. It’ll go right to your players unless they’re butterfingered

If they come back for an onside, just pick "hands team" and user catch the ball with the guy they have set to recieve (usually a WR). Time it right, hold 'Y', and pray no Madden BS happens, cuz a hit stick can cause a fumble. But 9/10, if u look prepared for it they'll try it just that 1 time and resort to the pooch kick. (Which is rendered useless if u let the ball bounce out of bounds or thru the endzone. Unless they finesse a way to get their absolute fastest guy on kickoff, they'll never get to the ball unless u get the unluckily bounce)

I once punted twice was down 14-0 and I ended up coming back 14-14 on my filling drive I score a TD with 3:24 in the 4th quarter and the guy quit like didn’t even try lol

Then it's just a foot race to the ball and you usually have a head start. I onside everytime. It's not guaranteed but still way too probable
