you are representing a company and a brand when you come on here and make videos with their name showing on your badge. what did they expect? for you to just start complaining about all the things you don’t like about your job or all the bad things that are happening in the industry? there is nothing wrong with being positive and/or just sharing all the positive things about your day or job. this is a place many wanna come to, to feel better about and more comfortable with flying (especially if they haven’t flown before). it’s helped me and one of the reasons i watch is cause i love your personality and wanna be brave enough to get back on a plane cause the last time i did i was terrified. you aren’t doing anything wrong. keep being you and keep shining bright ❤️❤️❤️❤️ oh also, you are never gonna win with these people. if you are positive they will say “all you do is sugar coat and a** kiss”, but if you were to be negative or critical then they’d say “all you do is complain”. you literally can’t win. just keep doing what you are doing cause you are winning in my book 😇

I have to admit that I'm taken aback by how immediately people are willing to become snarky and vitriolic in their responses - which is probably partly a result of the post-Trump crueller American climate, and also because the Internet enables meanness without face-to-face accountability.

Yes I was about to say, as a FA myself, I rarely see badly behaved passengers on my flights. So because you don’t show it doesn’t mean it’s not happening. It just means you haven’t personally experienced it. The media wants you to believe that every single flight has drama when actually it’s just the odd few out of 10,000 a day.
There’s only so much we can do 🙂 .. I uploaded a few videos talking about the realities of our job currently and I received many negative/mean comments/messages about me not being grateful/complaining etc. all we can do is our BEST, keep a positive attitude and spread kindness. Bubbly can be cute. However, when she sounds like a bubble head she is just flat annoying. She is not 15 anymore. Too often she sounds as if she has had multiple Expressos and is bouncing off the walls like a ping pong ball. Talk like an adult and stop squealing most of the time!

Yes, yes, yes. I am a frequent business traveler and, in my nearly million miles with my primary carrier, I’ve never seen an incident like this. They make the news but they are a very small minority. Most of us just want to get from A to B safely and in good spirits. Love your channel.
Times have changed in a short period. It's common now among people that are anti vax, anti mask. FAA bears that out in their data. You also won't see it nearly as much among seasoned travelers as we are. You also see it more on the LLC's Spirit etc because of different crowd.

I have major flight anxiety. Seeing the positive videos you and others make about flying and turbulence has made it easier for me to fly. You are definitely my favorite flight attendant channel. Keep doing what you do and helping those of us with the turbulence anxiety.

Stella...please never change, I love all of your videos just the way they are! As an x FA your videos put a positive spin on the job, no negatives which is what I like. Yes there are negatives, there are negatives in every job, but you have reminded me just how fabulous the job really is. If we want to hear the negatives all we have to do is turn on the TV after someone has been kicked off of flight. After 5 non-flying years your positives have inspired me to apply to AA and DL. If I don't get a position I'll just continue living vicariously through you! 😁

Seeing last minute reroutes, picking up trips, learning some of the lingo, in the hopes that he doesn’t feel he has to explain every little thing to me has been AWESOME, and just what I was hoping for!! Honestly I love your channel because of your happiness and positive outlook. As an aspiring FA who is really tired of working jobs that make me unhappy, it sometimes upsets me seeing flight attendants living my dreams and complaining about things that tons of people deal with in tons of worse jobs (I'm not speaking on the dangerous and frustrating things occurring now of course, more like waking up super early) it can be disheartening when FAs seem to go on the complete other end and show how "unglamorous" their job can be. Anyone who really wants to be an FA knows that, we aren't glamorising the position, so there's no need to complain about every detail. Hopefully that doesn't sound insensitive, I just like seeing people who appreciate what they have! It's really nice when FAs like you recognise what you have and share the greatness of it but also the not so good bits when they occur, which is definitely important too! I think I just want perspective. Personally, I'd much rather wake up early to go to a fun new city than wake up early to go to my dumb retail job! Anyways, all of this is to say that I love the way you share your life, thank you :)

I’m in the process of setting up my online virtual interview. I am a nurse and I applied years ago when I graduated nursing school. I applied at Continental but didn’t get hired. I applied at Express Jet and was hired there. I declined as I had just become a nurse but to work for Mainline Delta would be so amazing. Thank you for all you post. I too am a flight attendant and I understand Stella 100%. There are most definitely issues in the aviation industry now and I’m sure there will be in the future. And every job in the world honestly is going to have its challenges. But I’m like Stella. Rather than dwell in the negative we look at the positives. This job is amazing and fun. It has its tough days just as any job does. But I’ve honestly had the crazy trips with weather and cancellations turn out to be some of the best. If you have a great crew you can get through anything. It really is what you can make of it. This is not just for the aviation industry but for life in general. If you can find the positives even in the worst moments and be surrounded by positive people it will most definitely out weigh the negatives. This is why I love Stella. She could sit all day and tell you about things that go wrong but that’s not her. And that wouldn’t be me either.

I love your attitude and your approach to the situation. I really feel for everyone in the service industry, whether it's airline, fast food working in grocery stores etc, the amount of crap everyone is putting up with is insane. I use to work in that industry and I'm forever grateful that I'm in my career today.

One very delayed flight was full of people acting as if we were all on the same team- sharing food, helping each other with luggage, just watching out for each other and keeping a sense of humor. I thoroughly enjoy your channel Stella! I’ve been watching for a few years now and I always love your up-beat, bubbly persona even when things don’t necessarily workout as planned. Some people are caught up in their own negativity in their life and instead of dealing with it, they lash out at people they are envious of because they feel that person is “better off” than they are. I commend you for taking the time to acknowledge and confront this kind of commentary, but I would not let it affect you at all in how you run your channel. We love you Stella!❤️✈️
I agree with all of these supportive comments. I’d like to add I’m surprised this person would say this considering this channel is about YOUR experience. They must’ve missed all of the vlogs you made when you were furloughed and how devastating the uncertainty was for you and how you navigated that time in your life. I don’t think it gets any more real than that.
I love your channel. I think you are always honest. Perspective makes a huge difference. I think there’s a saying, life is 20 % what happens to you and 80% how you react to it. The news is very overdramatized and some people just don’t understand that. Keep being yourself!

Your positivity and vibrance is contagious and that's why I subscribed to your channel years ago. I'm also in the industry but not in flight service so I know all about the challenges and negativity out there. You are a breath of fresh air and with the world seemingly gone crazy these past two years, you're exactly what people need to be watching. I have a feeling those comments from the person weren't meant to hurt you but it did come off as harsh. Not once have I felt you weren't been truthful in your videos. Keep up the great work. By the way, I flew a few weeks ago and connected in DCA so I was hoping I'd see you walking, smiling and vlogging. No such luck as I was at gates with mostly regional jets. you are representing a company and a brand when you come on here and make videos with their name showing on your badge. what did they expect? for you to just start complaining about all the things you don’t like about your job or all the bad things that are happening in the industry? there is nothing wrong with being positive and/or just sharing all the positive things about your day or job. this is a place many wanna come to, to feel better about and more comfortable with flying (especially if they haven’t flown before). it’s helped me and one of the reasons i watch is cause i love your personality and wanna be brave enough to get back on a plane cause the last time i did i was terrified. you aren’t doing anything wrong. keep being you and keep shining bright ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yes I was about to say, as a FA myself, I rarely see badly behaved passengers on my flights. So because you don’t show it doesn’t mean it’s not happening. It just means you haven’t personally experienced it. The media wants you to believe that every single flight has drama when actually it’s just the odd few out of 10,000 a day.

Yes, yes, yes. I am a frequent business traveler and, in my nearly million miles with my primary carrier, I’ve never seen an incident like this. They make the news but they are a very small minority. Most of us just want to get from A to B safely and in good spirits. Love your channel.
Times have changed in a short period. It's common now among people that are anti vax, anti mask. FAA bears that out in their data. You also won't see it nearly as much among seasoned travelers as we are. You also see it more on the LLC's Spirit etc because of different crowd.

Yes there are negatives, there are negatives in every job, but you have reminded me just how fabulous the job really is. If we want to hear the negatives all we have to do is turn on the TV after someone has been kicked off of flight. After 5 non-flying years your positives have inspired me to apply to AA and DL. Seeing last minute reroutes, picking up trips, learning some of the lingo, in the hopes that he doesn’t feel he has to explain every little thing to me has been AWESOME, and just what I was hoping for!! Honestly I love your channel because of your happiness and positive outlook. As an aspiring FA who is really tired of working jobs that make me unhappy, it sometimes upsets me seeing flight attendants living my dreams and complaining about things that tons of people deal with in tons of worse jobs (I'm not speaking on the dangerous and frustrating things occurring now of course, more like waking up super early) it can be disheartening when FAs seem to go on the complete other end and show how "unglamorous" their job can be. Anyone who really wants to be an FA knows that, we aren't glamorising the position, so there's no need to complain about every detail. Hopefully that doesn't sound insensitive, I just like seeing people who appreciate what they have! It's really nice when FAs like you recognise what you have and share the greatness of it but also the not so good bits when they occur, which is definitely important too! I think I just want perspective. Personally, I'd much rather wake up early to go to a fun new city than wake up early to go to my dumb retail job! Anyways, all of this is to say that I love the way you share your life, thank you :)

I have wanted to be a flight attendant since I was a little boy on my first Pan Am flight 30+ years ago. I saw your post about Delta hiring and I applied. I’m in the process of setting up my online virtual interview. I am a nurse and I applied years ago when I graduated nursing school. I applied at Continental but didn’t get hired. I applied at Express Jet and was hired there. I declined as I had just become a nurse but to work for Mainline Delta would be so amazing. Thank you for all you post. I think that viewer just wants and enjoys a drama FA channel. Some people just love the drama. A lot of us have hard days at work, are going through difficult times, dealing with loss and illnesses….your channel is always such a nice, positive, and upbeat channel to watch and escape to!

She moved to Chicago for her job and had a rough start in her office because she came each morning bringing that sunshine she does when she walks into a room. Everyone thought she was fake but she literally is a very happy person and wants a good office environment for everyone because only productivity happens when people are happy. While I watch you, I'm smiling the whole time. You are such an inspiration for living life fully. Keep the happy Stella coming and ignore people that bring bad vibes.

I love to fly and I just got back from traveling internationally with your company and I have to say, I respect how well they handled conflicting passengers and it’s not all a large conflict. I respect your truth, honestly and positivity and I look forward to seeing your videos. The biggest thing I love seeing in your videos is that you stay true to who you are and even when you have a hard flight you find the positive in your day. I too am a flight attendant and I understand Stella 100%. There are most definitely issues in the aviation industry now and I’m sure there will be in the future. And every job in the world honestly is going to have its challenges. But I’m like Stella. Rather than dwell in the negative we look at the positives. This job is amazing and fun. It has its tough days just as any job does. But I’ve honestly had the crazy trips with weather and cancellations turn out to be some of the best. If you have a great crew you can get through anything. It really is what you can make of it. This is not just for the aviation industry but for life in general. If you can find the positives even in the worst moments and be surrounded by positive people it will most definitely out weigh the negatives. This is why I love Stella. She could sit all day and tell you about things that go wrong but that’s not her. And that wouldn’t be me either.

I love your attitude and your approach to the situation. I really feel for everyone in the service industry, whether it's airline, fast food working in grocery stores etc, the amount of crap everyone is putting up with is insane. I use to work in that industry and I'm forever grateful that I'm in my career today.
Stella watching your vlogs on Sunday’s is part of my weekend ritual! I love how positive you are. I know that everyday is not a good day. You choosing to keep it light and fun is why I tune in. All the love to you, Stella! I echo everything you said. I have flown a lot this summer, and people have been amazing and supportive. One very delayed flight was full of people acting as if we were all on the same team- sharing food, helping each other with luggage, just watching out for each other and keeping a sense of humor. I know the difficulties and violence exist, but I also think it’s a small percentage. Also, I caution you against getting hooked into the words of commenters who claim to talk for others (esp on You Tube- um, none of us know each other). I appreciate your positivity. Some people are caught up in their own negativity in their life and instead of dealing with it, they lash out at people they are envious of because they feel that person is “better off” than they are. I commend you for taking the time to acknowledge and confront this kind of commentary, but I would not let it affect you at all in how you run your channel. We love you Stella!❤️✈️
I agree with all of these supportive comments. I’d like to add I’m surprised this person would say this considering this channel is about YOUR experience. They must’ve missed all of the vlogs you made when you were furloughed and how devastating the uncertainty was for you and how you navigated that time in your life. I don’t think it gets any more real than that.
I love your channel. I think you are always honest. Perspective makes a huge difference. I think there’s a saying, life is 20 % what happens to you and 80% how you react to it. The news is very overdramatized and some people just don’t understand that. Keep being yourself!

Your positivity and vibrance is contagious and that's why I subscribed to your channel years ago. I'm also in the industry but not in flight service so I know all about the challenges and negativity out there. You are a breath of fresh air and with the world seemingly gone crazy these past two years, you're exactly what people need to be watching. I have a feeling those comments from the person weren't meant to hurt you but it did come off as harsh. Not once have I felt you weren't been truthful in your videos. Keep up the great work. By the way, I flew a few weeks ago and connected in DCA so I was hoping I'd see you walking, smiling and vlogging. No such luck as I was at gates with mostly regional jets.
