You should expose yourself to more people. I'm sure you have your click but, what you do is something that many like me watch in wonderment. I can't believe you haven't gotten your own show. There are folks like you out there but, they can't do what you do. Compartmentalization! I wish I was rich and you were an Mopar guy!
As a teenager in the U.K. in the seventies I was lucky enough to get a ride in a (fairly new) Mach 1 owned by my Manager. Fabulous memories, he took my breath away at that time….I never lost “the bug” 😊
For your next video on this 70, can you go over the front apron measurements (for ex. dimensions from firewall to rad support and width from apron to apron). I have seen many 69-70 cars with different front apron measurements that vary and are with 1 inch of each other in some cases. If you have measurements from a square car that hasnt been hit alot of guys in the community would love to know what your measurements read including myself. Thanks for posting these awesome informative vids and keep up the great work!
Good afternoon. Sir. I glad your back. I can not get enough of watching your videos. Love everything u do. So neat, smart, talent, and everything else.
I feel your pain, even with great skills and knowledge a lot of aftermarket stuff doesn't live up to our expectations and just involves more time and money! Also, thank you for the recommendation on the Mustangs to Fear stuff, I have been going back and forth on a lot of front suspensions and I think their support/subframe that attaches to the rear forward springs all the way to the core support is the way to go and transform that part of the vehicle. I like the Roadster Shop frame but it's a lot of money, a long wait, and a lot of weight and not worth it for a street-driven car.
I know your pain with the panel fitment issues! Somedays you just have to go do something else before you break out the BFH and destroy something!!! Keep up with the good work buddy!
So glad to see you are back to doing the videos. It really makes my day to see a new one has been posted. Thank you for being real and showing your frustration when parts do not fit up just right since this is the way it is doing these projects. I appreciate the honesty.
I would be interested in this car when done. I have 3 Mach 1’s, 69’ Q-code 428cj 4spd, 70’ M-code 351c 4spd, 72’ H-code fmx that I will be putting on the market soon, how do I get in contact?
I love your work , BUT did I see a bunch of rust in the left side sill in front of the rear wheel ? given your attention to detail , I expect you took care of that ?
I believe that the work shown is going on in early 2022. High-quality paint shops who are willing to paint an entire car commonly schedule work out 6 - 8 months in advance... 🤷♂️
@@petersonrestorations My comment wasn’t intended to inflame anyone. When you made the comment about getting finished before the end of the year I wasn’t aware that your painter was booked up that far in advance. Your videos in the past have seemed.to make your work progression quite fast. That’s why I thought your video was made in October/November,so you could get the car to the painter before the end of 2021. My mistake! Can’t wait to see the Boss in color. Your work is quite impressive. I’ve always loved the Boss 302 and the ‘67 Shelby Mustang.my favorites.
Hi , When you were using the small wheel to make those indents, were you able to just push/pull the metal to create the rib or is the wheel power assisted? Nice work by the way….
Hey... lemme pick your brain a sec... Will the '69 and up 22 gal tanks fit in place of the '67/'68 16 gal. tank? Sending units the same etc? Wanting to do this to my '68 coupe. \m/
Check out this guy V-tuned trying to restore a Mustang. What a joke. He is butchering the car! I keep telling him he ought to check out your channel so he can learn something.
This is GREAT.. Legendary Motorcar's youtube featured a Grabber Blue '70 mach1 restoration today too!

It’s like watching Star Wars with that plasma cutter
Great to see you back, been soaking up all your videos trying to prepare to do my basket case 73 Mach 1. Love your methods and style

@@philtucker1224 yep once you catch it , hard to loose it, but hey who wants to loose it 😊
@@phatridesgarage3760 lose* lol c'mon man
Been there with the aftermarket parts. Always have to cut/splice to make them work. As my dad always said, thats why the make welders and grinders 🙂
I dig the depth of knowledge and precision you bring to these restorations!
Ha ha… you said if you’re doing one yourself…. Do you think people with your skills are everywhere
Keep up the great work

I just appreciate when you find time to put a video out. I will wait as long as it takes.
👍Great series to watch it come together, quick. Enjoy watching someone who knows a car model this in depth.
Looks great! Always enjoy your videos.
I've learned SO much watching this channel. Appreciate it!
You've got some serious skills and work ethic young man.

Glad new vids are being posted and super happy to see this car come together! Come on Powerball! Daddy needs this Mustang! 😆
Perfection can be frustrating and rewarding at the same time... fresh start & you will get it... enjoy watching your skills!
*Magic*, that's what it is. Just magic. Amazing how much needs to be altered for that one inch drop.
There is a ton yet to change and adjust for the drop
My word. I've never seen such skills. Are you Superman in real life? Well done sir!
Thanks!!
love your work but don't see any weld through primer being used here !
Fully hand built car. Amazing.
Great work
Always quality work. 😊

All you have to do is open the " About " tab on his channel and you will see his facebook link. Or just google Peterson Restorations in Pennsylvania
@@johnnyfalcon141 just emailed him thanks!
How do you seal the wheel wells to the quarter panels after or before you spot weld them together, to keep away future rust?
What about the hole in the driver rear rocker? You fix that, or?????
I love your work , BUT did I see a bunch of rust in the left side sill in front of the rear wheel ? given your attention to detail , I expect you took care of that ?
It will be taken care of when I do the rockers
So,this video was made on late October, early November?🤔🤔🤔

Its pedal operated
You mentioned "all the cars I've done"... how many have you restored (shells and what not)?
Another interesting video. What happened to the Shelby clone, is that done and gone now?
Still here and will have videos coming
Oh fantastic, I was enjoying that build 👍🏻

It's the same trunk floors from 65-70 so you can use any tank in any year, just different filler pipe length
👍
