For me this is an education video to show us how bad rng's in this game. Stay away from crown crates and just buy something that offers you a real deal!

13:05 I can guarantee you that they in fact have messed with the algorithm outside of just being "random". We know for a fact they reduce drop chances in game based on how many people are farming an area. I play with a friend who lives over seas. When we would farm clockwork city for patterns while everyone else was farming it, we'd rarely see drops. But when I would log in at 4 or 5 am central time, I would see drops. They would also see drops when they played on NA from Europe when it was early morning in the USA. We documented this for months, there was a definite pattern to it. Its not a far stretch at all to consider that ZOS would employ the same cheesy tactics in the crown crates. I have seen a LOT of people make reference to getting better drops a couple years ago vs what they get now. Just the other night before the event started, I fished for the yellow furniture item from clockwork city. I had I think 4 yellow drops inside of maybe 30 minutes. I mean I never even finished a fishing hole before I would see the yellow lead. Tried the next day, the same day the event started and I went through 10 fishing holes and never saw a drop. I was talking to a few people also fishing for it and asked them about their drops rates, none of them had seen it drop either. This was completely contradictory to my experience the previous night. I love many aspects of the game, but the one thing that is absolutely certain is that ZOS designs the game around farming customers wallets. EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of the game revolves around the crown store. It's sickening.
super sad i missed out on this crate season, the pets and mounts are so visually appealling and would fit well with my templar main, oh well back to wishing for akaviri mounts for when gates of oblivion starts up for my alt
When crown crates were first released, I would get a mount easily for 15 crates, including apex mounts. The current drop rate and the amount of trash (potions) people get now is ridiculous.
I was thinking the same thing. These games are taking advantage of the mentally weak for profit!! Eventually someone with enough power will put a fix to these money hungry tactics
@@brandontipton3987 That would honestly be dope as hell! I'd be way more willing to buy a Season pass over the 200 crown crates that you basically need to get anything worthwhile.
My RNG has been shocking this past year, more so than any other. I've given up spending loads on crates just to have potions and xp Scrolls continuously ! 😂
@@janitorjohn5746 We already need to pay for the expansions and the membership (expansive expansions for a game with 2014 graphics). Loot boxes is other think, is cassino, if you want an specific thing you need to spend more and more real money. Loot boxes is a predatory thing and in ESO they include itens that you cannot buy with game gold, you are obligated spend real money. If we pay the expansions they should include cosmetics and so on, but no, they sell the game by pieces and the ESO community applause. Im sick of that
@@dxd42 I played the game for 4 years without having to pay for a thing. I bought the dlc’s whenever they came out. the crown crates are extra all the things I pay for is all extra and not necessary. But think about it how is a online game going to survive if they don’t ask you to pay for something? There servers are expensive. Whipping out dlc’s every year costs us something it can’t be free it’s impossible.
I’m from 2021 and I’m heated lol I’m mad my main is a Khajiit and I NEED that hiss emote like I need air lol I seen it four times!!!!!!!! So far. The torture!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just started playing again in March was lvl 20(ish) now in August 727, I kinda overly dedicated my time to ESO.

I got incredibly lucky with these. I bought three crates with my + crowns and ended up getting the apex saber tooth mount and draugr polymorph 🙏🏻

I opened 5 and was disappointed with no mount but at least I got the renegade dragon priest costume.

I stopped playing when they implemented these crown crates(loot boxes)... you need to pay for the game the expansions ... and then for the items kkk
