I totally felt for you with your brother, dude… it takes a REAL man to allow that exposure to happen, and have the true balls to NOT edit out that entire part. God Bless you!
I was actually hired by UHP 6 years ago, but changed my mind when I found out they were sorting us in the hiring process to be jack boots and not constitutional law enforcement. I had a 25 year UHP veteran tell me as “father to son” it’s not a place for a good righteous person to work. He said I was the most qualified hire he had ever seen and he asked me not to join. My wife is also from Richfield, it is a lovely small town.
I’m one of those that has been watching your channel since I was a young teenager in High School. Thank you for all you have done, not just with the reviews, but with all your life philosophy vids like this one. It has definitely contributed to who I am today. “Live to impress yourself.”
Just a wonderful Vlog Nutn. Great seeing the raw human side of you. Death is such a painful and powerful thing. May you find comfort. God bless you and your family.
I haven’t seen or talked to my so called “parents” in 31 years now. When I was in 6th grade I said to myself I never want to grow up and be like them. One week after graduation my dad said if you don’t like it GET OUT! I threw what little I had in trash bags and never looked back. One thing I’ve learned in life is to eliminate the toxic people. I have the best wife in the world and try to surround myself around positive people. Life is good!
It’s very weird to me on how so many kids grow up and disrespect their own family. They go no contact, call their parents toxic or narcissistic and think nothing of the pain they cause their entire family. I’ll bet you have no contact with any of your relatives do you? They all seem to have zero empathy and think everything in the world revolves around them. This isn’t cool to me at all, it’s a damn shame that as an adult you chose ruin over counseling. I hope your children don’t do the same to you. You totally missed the good message of this video.
@@heystarfish100sometimes no contact is the only option. My wife’s parents refused to believe that she was sexually assaulted by her stepbrother for years as a child. If someone told me when I was younger that by the time I turned 54 years old that so many of my loved ones, Family and Friends, would be on the other side, I wouldn’t have believed them. I also don’t know that I would have been happy in general.
Idk man. I cut my toxic parents out. It weighs heavily on me, but I have to shield my own family wife/daughter from the manipulation and abuse. The cycle of abuse/addiction/mental illness has to end somewhere. I'd rather carry that weight than have them deal with it...

Please accept my sympathies for the loss of your family member, Mrs Nutn. Nice different kind of video. Your point of view is appreciated. 👍
Nutn this is such an amazing video. I have been estranged from my only brother for close to 6 years after growing up with a very close relationship. Every Gen Xer I know has been traumatized by a Boomer parent, aunt/uncle, older Boomer sibling, etc. Their self-centeredness is unparalleled. This happened because their parents, who came out the Great Depression and WWII, stopped traditional parenting because life had been so hard and they were scared to be too harsh on their kids when they acted up. This resulted in a generation of people who were literally spoiled rotten and never told "no." Now, a small minority of Boomers are not like this. If you have plantar fascitis; stretching your calves might help.
Long distance hikers figure this out at calves grow from exercise, they contract. This causes problems in the feet.
Do you recommend general aviation after your dad's death? It's always been a passion of mine (working up the finances). I'd love to know your thoughts!
Love y'all, Thumbs-up ~John

I get this eternal life after death, but I'm going to regret some 10 year span on earth where I didn't do something. Does that mean we don't continue to gain experiences after death? I did enjoy the video, thank you.
Thanks for doing this video. Been following you for many years on and off all the way from scandinavia, Im 43 y o.
This video hit hard, been going through a difficult divorce, lost my brother (24 years old) august last year. My dad died about 20 years ago, so much other close family and friends died.
Tired of the numbness, when bad stuff happens I feel like I have nothing left in me to react with anymore. Trying to work through it doing stuff for me and my loved ones and not make my inner numbness and sadness reflect on my son.
Nice video nutn. Have a blessed day
Hugs Mrs nutn.
