There is so much Christian music today and that should be a good thing but with Shane and Shane I can truly say it’s Worship Music. They are blessed with this as a ministry. Not as Christian Artist trying to get music out but actually worshipping, it’s amazing. Heaven is going to be so beautiful. Can’t even fathom it. 🙌🏼🩸✝️👑
My goodness. The words of the Holy Spirit need no improvement. THANK YOU Shane and Shane for so beautifully honoring God’s words. I am floored by them.
Been waiting for this one since LINGER 2020. This song resonates within my spirit, giving praise and worship to The Most High King. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your Name in ALL the earth!
Psalm 150 mentions sounding cymbals, loud clashing cymbals, tamborines, dancing, strings, lute, harp, brass and everything praising the Lord. The Bible also makes no mention of organs such as Bach played, or pianos or guitars or any other instruments that developed over the course of years, and through technology. I sense in you a desire to be Biblical and that is not anything to disrespect. However, there are people who think reading from a Bible only, instead of a phone or tablet is the only way to preach, when many pastors nowadays use computers to cross reference texts, get Greek and Hebrew meanings, type notes on, and pray to God for clarity and the guiding and anointing of God’s Word. I might have pigeon-holed you a bit, but saying “no drums in the Bible” is more suspect than pipe organs, Hammond organs, pianos, guitars or many other widely accepted worship instruments. Drums are not the distraction. No more than keyboards, or great harmony or strings or organs. Each one of those instruments has potential to be played by sinful people or in a way that does not help congregational singing and participation, and each of those instruments has great potential to submit to the Word of God and magnify the Son of God, and have the Spirit of God inhabit the praises of His people. God dwells in our praise according to scripture, and psalms like 150 make it clear God loves many instruments, much singing and dancing even, which is another touchy subject. I’m at a Presbyterian church that hasn’t had drums for a few years fyi, so I’m not some drummer lurking in youtube haha.
Truly anointed, only concern with Shane is drums are not in the Bible. maybe he discern this for people that want to know do research on how drums originated.(Worldly) Big distraction from the Holy Spirit. For Jesus words are life unto the soul.
Organs, pianos, guitars.... likewise not mentioned in scripture. Yet we used them, and instrumentation in worship is obviously present in the bible (Psalms, Revelation, et al). The origins of an instrument are irrelevant. It is the believer who worships. Not the instruments. But if it's a conscience issue for you, then avoid it.

This was written to reply to Gloria Mullinax, sorry for not addressing her first…
You ought to copy and past your response in that thread. I replied before seeing your comment. Excellent points.

Why do some Christians court controversy so much? This spirit does not originate from God!
