I was created this in 2016... but I finally finish another mashup [I was doin' it like a 6 months] and it will be dedicated to Chaster (like a tribute). It's will be release today... Mix between Somewhere I Belong with Battle Symphony elements and Chandelier - a Multitrack Mashup with Sia this time on Vox in the most part... F**c I cried listenin' to what I create and you'll be probably too... I really miss Chester :/
This mashup helps me so much. I’m a pansexual trans boy and everyday, I’m judged by who I am. When I go to my grandmother’s house (where I am right at this moment) she always talks to me about having children and how I should name them after my sister who passed away when I was 6. She always tells me how I should live my life and change everything about me. I just want to be me...that’s literally all I want. I want to live my life the way I want to... sorry if this made you depressed
*For those wondering how it's possible to do a mashup of 2 different songs, it's possible when both songs are written in the same keys, which basically means they use the same notes. Both "Numb" and "Elastic Heart" are in the key of F# Minor, so they sound good together.*
More like idea is the 1st one... then imagination of that elements of the song fits to another... then tempo (between =/-40% difference)... then check multitrack/stems or instrumental or crate samples and the key is not that important but helpful ;)

The sad story is that LP/sia even know that somethin' like this exist + the money goes to "the labels" [Should go to the LP and Sia] but it was my hard work. When I listenin' this I fell pure satisfaction and happiness too. Thank You for that kind of words hope you will have great day. :)
