I worked with one of the US Ludwig kits that were set up for the Beatles on the US tours...The kit made it's way to the UK and came with a fan letter with a US post address asking for autographs...Someone had taped the note to the bass drum at a gig...The kit wasn't sold for any more money due to the Beatles link as it was uncorroborated...The note stayed with the kit
