Going through a slump at the minute. Been playing well in my league this year but now feel like I've never thrown a dart. Hopefully get out of it soon

Great video. Just getting out of a major slump where I was averaging 2.2-2.6 in cricket to averaging 3.4-3.7 again. Just took time and having a mental outlook like how you said helped greatly over all.

Great video and very good tips. I definitely learnt some new things and will put it into practice.

great points. People say "just have fun" but the problem is that I only have fun when I'm throwing well. I have bounced back as well recently after about 18 months of not throwing like I used to. I tried to straighten my throw and have a more traditional/correct throw. I had some success at times but lost the true feel I would get when I first started throwing. Now I have a hybrid of my old throw and a more straight throw and I have been seeing positive results these last few months. My confidence is up and now look forward to throwing more. I have also used the same darts for the longest time ever which is a great feeling.

    Question:
How do feel about practicing around heavy distractions? Loud Music, People standing and walking near, lights and smoke, bar type conditions etc.

I think that’s some of the best practice! You’ll never be in a perfectly quiet easy to concentrate tournament, so it’s practicing more realistic

I want to have your problems, an average in the high sixties or low seventies would be terrific. I'm scared of playing competitions because I doubt I have good chances of winning

It’s all relative though. What high for someone is low for someone else.
