      My personal counter is Regidraco/Applin. And yes Applin. I have three Applin in my deck to serve as a Single Prize Attacker with 1 energy cost and it does wonders. And with Apple Drop it can fix the Math quite nicely (Apple Drop + Rolling Iron to one-shot a Lugia V while having the 80-Armor for example)

    I might be stupid but i don't get the Stone Energy nor the Coating Energy. Duraludon is Dragon type so these Energy should not work right? Single Strike Energy would have been way better.
    (That's coming from someone who has not listened to the video yet)

    • @kaldxn4043
      @kaldxn4043 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as stone or coating energy is attached to a pokemon, it provides 🔩/✊️. The effects of the energy are the ones that only apply to the pokemons it is attached to with the same type as the energy.

    • @kaldxn4043
      @kaldxn4043 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Etc stone makes u take 20 less damage if it is attached to a ✊️ pokemon but bcs duraludon is a dragon type, it does not get that affect from the energy

    • @SoroSorrow
      @SoroSorrow 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mmhh I really learn something here. I was an 100% sure it provides Normal Energy if the Pokemon wasn't the same type!

    Quality deck, very noice

  • @chrismayi
    @chrismayi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm definitely going to try this deck out but instead of stone energy I'm gonna use single strike energy that way I can choice belt for VSTARs or scroll of the fanged dragon for VMAXs

    • @NLambo88
      @NLambo88 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Single strike doesn’t meet any thresholds so your just pointlessly boosting damage with it.

    • @Koudey

      No, you won't

    • @chrismayi
      @chrismayi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NLambo88 how does it not? 1 sse + belt = 270 or 2 sse + belt = 290, for VMAXs it's scroll + 1 sse = 320 or scroll + 2 sse = 340 (scroll discards a lot of resources so probably not even going to run it and go for a regular 2 hit ko on VMAXs)

    • @jakesaround
      @jakesaround 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chrismayi I think he was trying to point out that SSE only counts as fighting or dark type. Dura and the scroll you mentioned require at least 2 metal type energies to function. Also the scroll wont hit thru an opposing Dura's ability unless you use Path.

    • @chrismayi
      @chrismayi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jakesaround you can accelerate 4 energy with archeops per turn 2 sse and 2 coating/aurora/impact energy as well as attach 1 per turn and I didn't end up using the scroll instead I used radiant Hawlucha and you can hit the max VMAX hp numbers with 3 sse + belt + Hawlucha = 340

  • @lukassimokaitis1362
    @lukassimokaitis1362 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Single strike Ursi also can shred with far more dmg :) Just don't have such protection as Dura. I'd also play Single Strike energy or Impact Energy for Single strike pokemons.

  • @alvindalida6240
    @alvindalida6240 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Interestingly enough since you mentioned shred in the first game, there was a head judge in a recent Singapore tournament that ruled that Regigigas’s +150 DMG to VMAX doesn’t apply when Big Parasol is in play, which most of the community has disagreed on because “Damage is not an effect”

    • @SoroSorrow
      @SoroSorrow 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If this is the case, then Big Parasol prevent Shred. And since Mew Era we know for sure this is not right. I don`t understand why the judge thought it didn't apply

    • @ConorChewy
      @ConorChewy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very strange. Just seems to be a naïve surface interpretation that parasol effectively means "ignore the text below the attack if it changes what happens to your Pokémon", which is just wrong. Regigigas' attack effect applies to itself (i.e. its own attack's damage output) not to the opposing Pokémon.

  • @dean6978
