cefal1000 because Italian food in Italy is very regionalized. Italian food in America (authentic not fast food) IS like Italy - in Napoli, Bari, Sicilia. But your idea of Italy is probably Venice, Florence, etc. and that is a completely different style of cuisine.
It's Chicagoland big boss, which shares quite a bit of joint history of the city. Just cause you can't afford Lake Forest doesn't mean you can't see what they got to offer.
I hate this host SOOOOOO much!!!! Does anyone with influence read these comments? This guy needs to find another job. Like outside a used car dealership. Waving a sign. And even that might be too much....
I've been to Italian American restaurants and have never been a fan of meatballs larger than 1". These huge meatballs might as well be a burger or meatloaf. Also spaghetti and meatballs are about as Italian as Olive Garden. You'll never find it in Italy. And stop calling marinara sauce "gravy".
riproar11 actually spaghetti and meatballs IS served in Italy. However it is served separately, not together, as is all pasta and meat generally (primi piatti/secondi). Of course you could ask for them to be served at the same time and then you would have spaghetti e polpette...
As long as you don't feed me, we're alright 😂😂😂 4:29
Great Channel! I'm from Brazil, and i Love It!
There are a million restaurants in Chicago and the surrounding cities. This restaurant is actually closer to Wisconsin than Chicago.
Lake Forest isn’t Chicago and can’t we get a new local host? I should apply.
Frank the owner rocking the rolex
IF I had a bottomless stomach I genuinely think I could eat all the italian food in the world
Man, trust me, that is not italian food.
Vittorio Proli this isn’t Italy and like he says it’s based on Italian food it’s NOT Italian proper
@@matthewtoddsr.6743 Quite frankly that's not based on any italian food, it's just too far off. I'm sure it's tasty, but that's about it.
@@vittorioproli2903 Glad i'm not the only one who's noticed that 😅
@@gabrielladelfinadiblasio7398 how is it not based on Italian I’ll wait

Because they adapt to American taste.

That's not even remotely inspired by italian food 😑 I respect that people may love it, but they should consider calling it something else
