I didn't get around to reading any Sherlock Holmes in October but I do plan to read The Dark is Rising series in memory of Alice and I know how much she enjoyed them and my friend reads 'The Dark is Rising' every winter solstice so I'm surprised I've never read them.

I saw the Oxford Book of Ghost Stories online recently but hadn’t heard anything about it so I was happy to hear you talk about it. It’s definitely going on my wishlist.
