    Good God, the Elixir looks fantastic - reminds me of the Tripowin Olina - on top of the neutral tuning and the accessories, I just might get it over the KATO.
    On an unrelated note, any chance at adding the Diffuse Field target to your Squig? In any case, great video - thanks a bunch.
    P.S. - Fleetwood Mac is awesome.

    The swappable filters in FDX1 do effect bass , mids and treble seriously , they do change a sound signature , totally change . With the proper tips ( FiiO redded black or Azla Sedna and such ) they do have a very good , punchy quality bass , never 'bass light ' and in general not a lean sounding IEM .

      It should not be necessary to do mods to make any iem do what it’s supposed to. Filters, etc, should be done by the R&R team, and delivered to the customer with a complete product. Though many people are into items now, how many are qualified to work on them, to do anything to them as though they may change a filter,etc, they have no idea of what that actually does from an engineering point of view! This should all be left to engineers!!! Any everyday user should be able to purchase an iem without having to do one thing technically to them , as 99% of everyday users have no technical experience and should not have to modify one thing to get what they paid for. They are putting engineering problems into the hands of the user; hell no!! Do your job and give the client what they want without letting them do something they don’t know how to do and expect a result!! If I had to modify an iem after purchase to get what I want( I’d never do that) I would bill them for my time as an engineer. To release an iem with filters and baffles means what? The didn’t get it right!!!! They expect you to do that, and it’s complete bull.,,,,,!!! How about they pay You to fix it?
      Ignorance abounds with these companies!!

      @@danrdey I can understand that, but like I said, few people have the tech skills to perform these mods, get it right without the end user doing anything but enjoy the product. I’m from a different world tan 90% of the folks here, as I’m a lifelong songwriter, musician, engineer, and producer. If a musician bought these, they would Not want to be straddled with tuning them themselves, they would expect a finished product. They won’t take time to mod anything, they expect it to work as advertised.

    • @SuperReview
      @SuperReview  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SuperReview I mostly use the stock tips. I've had some comfort and isolation issues while using the spring tips, but I'll try them again for a bit and see how that goes.
      Edit: Tried the spring tips again and experienced the same comfort issues as before (they're a little too short so I end up feeling more of the shell in my ear), and they sound too bright. I don't normally find spring tips change the sound of my IEMs too much, but in this case, the treble became kind of unbearable for me on some songs. Might have something to do with the bore size. Idk, maybe I just have to find a way to save up for the Dunu SA6.

    seems pretty cool for what it is. but for myself i cannot help but imagine the 7hz timeless makes more sense (not knowing or having firsthand experience of either one). simply because my chus here they just dont have any feeling of stereo seperation / soundstage. far too narrow it feel like everything is in mono. now that might just be me being new to iems and unfaamiliar or not adjusted enough to them yet? but if its instead due to being single driver design then that would be my reason for wanting to change things up. and would want to be trying for a 7hz timeless instead
