I almost bought the Cameo 4 pro because I love Silhouettes and have been buying them for years. I just upgraded to the Cameo 4 and am happy with it, but kept my Cameo 3 because I like the dual pen functionality better. I am glad I watched this video before buying a 24 in cutter. Thanks!
I sold my 24" Cameo and just ordered this from Swing Design. I've been using Silhouettes for years and just did not enjoy that machine. I am excited to see this.
Hi I have a Silhouette cameo 4 that gives me a lot of trouble trying to cut cut fonts that are 1/4 inch high in Oracal 651 vinyl wondering if the sister Romeo cut better any help would be appreciated thanks Dennis Laff
The Siser Romeo is very precise, but the CAMEO should also be able to do text at that size. It is going to depend on your settings and the font itself.
Hello, I have a Romeo 24 sisser, which in the last month has not been cutting vinyl well. It's really not making me desperate anymore, and it's not the blade because I have changed the blade three times and the problem remains the same. And if I increase the pressure of the cut, it goes all the way through the vinyl.
@@SilhouetteSchool thank you. I have a pro brand new in the box but I think I want the Romeo. Also can you work in the software without having a machine connected like you can with silhouette? How is the software in comparison to silhouette? Can you do as much?
I have the pro and I love the software but absolutely hate the Silhouette. It's impossible to cut with the mat without it drifting and ruining the cut. The cut settings aren't consistent and the bluetooth never works. I usually get frustrated and resort back to my cricut. I might just have a bad one, but I'm not happy with my pro and going to sell it.

I hated my pro, i'm also selling mine. I'm trying to decide between this and the new cricut.
Will it cut fabric? I need to cut 22" circles. Brike my wrist and still not able to use rotary cutter and template.
There is not a rotary blade for the Siser machines

Thanks watched your video on small fonts and reverse weeding going to give it a try thanks
My pro also gives me a lot of trouble and I usually go back to my Cricut.

It sounds like the blade is not seated correctly.
Can you do a comparison of the cameo pro vs Siser Romeo? Is it just as quiet as the Juliet?
Yes I will do a comparison. I can tell you the Juliet/Romeo are much more quiet than the CAMEO machines.

The machines wrapped like a mummy.
