    Brilliant, I wasn’t even aware you could get a camera in this housing. I will be getting one of these, if you have the link that would be great in your next video. Many thanks.

    Hows the video quality in lower light and very direct sunlight? Specifically reading license plate numbers if not directly close to your car and in front?

      I’ll try and upload some footage over the weekend so that you can judge for yourself 👍

    Hey thanks for the video, appreciate the tutorial. Just wondering do you know how the g sensor works? As in if your car is parked will it record any incidents with the plug and play cord if you’ve been hit?

      I haven’t really delved too deeply into the control app but there are various settings to adjust the sensitivity and if it stays on after you switch off the car etc. I did try leaving it on monitor but car didn’t like it and said the battery was low after about 30 mins. Since then I just have it set to on when the car gives it power (ie when you start the engine and when you switch it off) as (personally) I just want it as a witness to any road/driving incident because living in Germany there are a number of cases where the police will automatically blame one driver so I might need to be able to prove otherwise!

      @@mercedes_and_more hey I just installed it using your video! Found it bit longer to take off and putting on the cover with all the extra cables, I also got rear so could be the reason why. But when your driving, silly question but does the dash cam get warm?

    Just wondering what the buttons on the unit do?

      @@JamesBond-hy4kv think one is to freeze the picture and the other is for taking a still picture. Personally i just let it do is thing as if the worst happens it keeps hours of footage and has a crash sensor to stop the filming after an impact

    Can I confirm, have you disconnected the wiper sensor and plugged the camera in instead? Is the intention to eventually plug the wiper sensor back in when you sell the car and disconnect the camera? I wonder if this will work for an A35

    • @mercedes_and_more
      @mercedes_and_more  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not quite! The connection for the camera plugs into the wiper connection to get power and then the other end of the coupling plugs into the wiper (in other words it splits the connection but allows the wiper to work normally). Hopefully that makes sense?

      @@mercedes_and_more this makes sense. Thank you for clarifying
