Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

I really like this episode and how much Monk hates being at this concert while Randy and Jared are just jamming out.😂❤
Also, the fact that Monk confused “Rock Show” with a geology exhibit is hilarious.😅😂
The scene where the shady dude asks to tag along to see the victim's old house, and monks just like yeah sure whatever
The shady dude was the star of the show and not a suspect at the time. It makes sense that they'd let him go wherever he wanted, after all the house wasn't a crime scene yet either.
For those of you that never saw this full episode, that's Leland's son at the end, holding the blue beach ball...🙂
you mean Ted Levine real son ?
LOl "You thought it was an actually geology exhibit?" "Well yeah"
"You thought it was an *actual* geology exhibit?"
Lucky for Kendra, Stottlemeyer brought Monk with him. Guy can know little to nothing going into a case and still find all the pieces to solve it. Only he can notice stuff like no mud on the victim's shoes or no teeth marks on the tourniquet or an envelope disappearing in less than a minute of being in a room (Just to name a few😄) I love this show. Thank goodness it's on Prime
Stottlemeyer could see things even Monk would miss, but isn't allowed to drink on duty
@@meyer6891 😄
@@meyer6891True😂 I remember that Vegas episode!
It's not ON the beach ball...it's IN the beach ball! 👏🏾
That phobia line is likely what got monk interested in the case.
That line: 'People don't just get over their phobia overnight do they?' Monk knows the answer to that all too well.
"You may not like me, but you know me."
Props to the Captain. He let Jared know he understands. His son probably blames him for the divorce, but he knows his father is a good cop and trusts him enough to do the right thing.
you know you fcked up when monk starts to say HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED 😂
The roadie so pretty
For Monk, Hell hole and Port-a-john are the same thing.
The scene started like a video game
One of my favorite episodes,,,
Anytime,,,
Legendary!
Monk! Monk! Monk!!
One real Mrsmonk❤
What happened between the kid and Stottle that earned his trust? I feel like we missed an entire subplot
I would like to know that too!
Basically, he admitted he wasn't the father the kid deserved but meant good, and thanked him for helping in this case
@@meyer6891 So Stottlemeyer was the boy's father?
@@TH-camallowedmynametobestolen Yep. He didn't spend a lot of time with him nor his brother due to his job, and later divorce. But the kid realized by watching his father work that his father worked so much because of his values
@@meyer6891 Thanks, meyer6891!
I remember the beach ball!
Always Jihoo/Lei/Ren, be it Korean, Chinese or Thai version, they're the ones ✨
What? Idk what you're talking about but does anyone know this song?
That’s not how Registered Mail works
Actually, you can seen registered to yourself...🙂
@@keithbannister9271Yup. I've done it.
It's episodes like this that make me think "how did it not end here?" He's a "brilliant" Detective. Yet, doesn't know the difference between a porta potty and a phone booth? Did he stick the quarter in the toilet? C'mon.
He blacks out when anxious, which does make sense given his many, many traumas, including but not reduced to abuse by his parents, isolation from peers from a young age, extreme bullying, abandonment by his father, dysfunctional household, witnessing multiple corpses and deaths (one literally at his porch), Trudy, joining a cult, being kidnapped a few times, and being buried alive at least twice.
Half of the show is explaining that Adrian's genius was developed as a defense mechanism that allows him to be somewhat functional.
@@meyer6891 Are there 2 episodes with him being buried alive ? I can remember 1, and I think I've seen them all
@@Josh.WDW. The one with the Kung Fu zombie, and the one were he helped Kroger's son follow a "treasure" map
@@meyer6891 Okay, whew, I HAVE seen them all lol
Based on true events. Except in real life Eddie Vedder got away with it.
Eddie Vedder killed a roadie?
@@413dollaz no idea. Ask people who liked my comment 😂
@@MrGenexxx so you were trolling cuz they look alike?
