My brother got a purple skirt at the store when he was six(my parents let him get it) he loved the skirt…until he wore it to school at the teacher asked why he stole his “older sisters clothes”. His favorite color was purple until he came home from school one day and declared he hated the color purple randomly… he still likes the color purple just not in public.
My other brother wanted one of my old dresses that I let him have since I wasn’t gonna wear it again. He loved that dress until he wore it to school… he also wore a shirt that was gray Dora shirt with pink on the sleeves. This was also criticized by the teachers as “steeling my clothes”…
