hey firststate, you’ve seriously inspired my friends and i while fishing. sadly, the main area we fish at is catch-and-release only. my grandpa taught me how to clean a fish, and i really want to try redbreast. i just wanted to say thanks for inspiring me.
That sucks but atleast you can still fish right make the best of it I can only fish when my dad wants to cause I don’t live near a lake so we have to drive a lil before we get there
I catch and release too because the water quality here is not good. With water quality not good, it's not safe to eat fish. I caught a big smallie today was epic 😊
Already know this gonna be a banger 🔥 and when are we gonna get some creek fishing content . Bro you need to get outta that boot! Love your videos dude 👍🏻 may god bless you 🙏
Me and 4 friends got fishing licenses down in VA and have already eaten a few cause of your videos, catch and cook is my and my gf's favorite. It's such a good way to connect with nature and eat naturally 👍 looking forward to more and I hope the boot doesn't last too much longer cause I wanna see your wading spots
Agreed so much. I started doing this because of him and others on TH-cam. But I can't seem to catch anything and the river here is kinda sus lol. Very polluted here. But I still wanna try...
@@spindleblood google fish consumption advisory (your state) and you should be able to find an interactive map saying what's safe to eat from and how often
When crabbing you need to leave the chicken sit out at least over night. The more it stinks the better the crabs like it. Turkey necks work really well too.
Awesome video man, I love the content. Careful connecting hooks to the eyelets it can scratch them up and cause abrasions on the line better off hooking it else where! Tight lines bro!
You should definetly do a seafood boil. Make sure you use old bay seasoning, its the best for boils. Just use water and old bay and then add everything in
Pinfish messing with your bait. They are basically like bluegill bait stealers lol, I’m from Delaware too and moved to north Florida Love the channel bro
Hey Mike have you considered coming and fishing inland, like say, Kansas? We can show you where we pull 40+ pound catfish out if the river on a regular basis on lines and reels. Something to think about, keep it up man I love your content
I have been binge watching your videos lately and i love them! I haveca question though. Why dont you eat small/large mouth bass? I think they taste delicious as i have caught and eaten both. Mabey its an American thing?
Hey bro love your videos! I’m a manger at the cabelas back in Newark! I would love to suggest a fan meet and greet kind of thing when you come back around this way! Keep grindin❤
I don’t know jack about fishing but this made me go out and try. So far I’ve enjoyed the peace with nature but I didn’t catch anything. Going to go out this weekend to Smyrna and see what I can learn.
You need that BOOT OFF. You've had it on so long; it's going to take 3x's longer for your foot to get back to regular motion!!! I'm serious, you are screwing urself
I completely agree! I’ve had stress fractures before and wasn’t even put in a boot! Then again I’ve also really broken bones many times and the worst was when I broke a growth plate, I was in a cast for about 6 months and it was not easy AFTER being in a cast that long!
I’m in your current area, don’t forget to check out the south part of the island, there’s some good locations where the river meets the ocean you should check out.
If your up in north Florida east point is a good spot for what your targeting look up on maps and check it out got pier you can fish off but the sea walls are usally your best bet sheeps flounder reds trout crabs anything really at this time of the year good video tho bro pretty solid crabs
FSF vs Florida 🎣🌴 What should we catch and cook next?

Good on you dude for never losing the love of fishing, I subbed in the very early days and it’s awesome to see how much you’ve grown
It’s awesome to see you down here in Florida!
Another Banger 🔥. You should try to catch some bullseye snakeheads and Peacock bass
Great video as always! Giving my girl and I some fun vacation ideas
noooo the mustard is the best part! great video!
Hi! You can put garlic in the crab traps the smell is stronger and attract the crabs you can also put small frozen fish for bate.

You have really inspired me to get out and fish.
It's totally legit! You foraged that asparagus from the fridge!
What are those kinds of crab traps called? Also, do you have to register those like a normal box crab trap?
I was in panama city this week and I caught my first bull shark. Caught a lot of Spanish and pinfish as well
You should definetly do a seafood boil. Make sure you use old bay seasoning, its the best for boils. Just use water and old bay and then add everything in
Like the catch and cook
You're so lucky you don't have to deal with seals messing with your traps. Lol. Cheers 🍻
Pinfish messing with your bait. They are basically like bluegill bait stealers lol, I’m from Delaware too and moved to north Florida
Love the channel bro
I stared watching some of your videos when I lived in Pennsylvania and then moved to Florida , crazy how you come here to fish now
Hey Mike have you considered coming and fishing inland, like say, Kansas? We can show you where we pull 40+ pound catfish out if the river on a regular basis on lines and reels. Something to think about, keep it up man I love your content

Just found this channel and since your from Delaware (I’m a state below ya) do you like saltwater or freshwater fishing
Pro tip…. Boil crabs in saltwater from the ocean they taste better that way
I’m in your current area, don’t forget to check out the south part of the island, there’s some good locations where the river meets the ocean you should check out.
Florida thunder.. as my trucker dad always said about the sunshine state.. it's liquid sunshine..
fishing is all about fishing period
Should have thrown one of those chunks of crab at the pilons under the bridge. Prime territory for reds, black drum, sheepshead, all kinds of stuff
Wwwww yessirr
Dude to catch reds and trouts try some live pinfish or finger mullet on a Carolina rig might be your best bet
need to take your kayak out and fish any structure flounder and red drum like to hang around that
People on bath salts 😂😂😂 bro I’m fucking dead
Nice
What equipment / gear do you use ? 👍
Here in Maryland we eat crabs how they were found, and personally I love the mustard on some of the meat
You gotta make Krab Mac n cheese
Eating only what you catch for 24 hours delaware edition XD
You need to start wearing a Leatherman. You will always have pliers/ shell cracker
Big ass pot for four crabs 🤣😂
If your up in north Florida east point is a good spot for what your targeting look up on maps and check it out got pier you can fish off but the sea walls are usally your best bet sheeps flounder reds trout crabs anything really at this time of the year good video tho bro pretty solid crabs

One rule of Florida. If there’s signs of life in any body of water. Chances are, there’s gators/crocs there
where I Florida because I live in florida
What is the name of the fishing rod and reels lins
im early
i would switch out the crab traps to the closed crab pods they just work better and the crabs can't steal the bait
