The Noovo Plus Class B has a nice floor plan. The Vancasky’s channel just posted about it with the tour of it inside. We have the Coachmen Beyond Li3 Floorpan D. The lithium is the way to go. Beyond has more leg room for the driver. Overall well made. Coachmen changed a few things in the 2024-square/rectangle sink..a few other changes.
Loved it! I didn't know you liked to travel. This van is perfect. It has everything you seem to need. Even little skipper seems to like it. Real nice inside and clean. Maybe Laurie might want to try a drive it. Glad to see you are both are doing well in Florida, you both deserve it. Thanks for explaining everything, I'm sure you answered questions for those who might want to buy one. Take care and have a good time traveling.
Fascinating. You covered everything I wanted to know. It was like I was there as you anticipated and answered everything that I wanted to ask about. Off topic, but Laurie always has the best white jeans. It's really hard to find a good pair for hot climates that are not transparent, don't fit too tight/loose or have "invisible" pockets. Laurie needs to do a tropical fashion video lol as I love her clothes. You both are so sweet together and respectful in how you share your thoughts in your videos.
I totally agree with you on the driving position between the two. I went to the coachmen dealership for 2024 NOVA 20D. However, after got on the both front driver seat I was sold to beyond. ^^
This looks awesome. Video Idea for you all: Best boondock places in the keys. I'm in Jupiter and cant wait to get a stealth class B and hit all the keys.
Good call on Ford. PromAster transmission will go out around 30k miles. Check your cabin air filter in the glove box to be sure there is one. They typically do not install it from the factory .
I swore I would never by another Dodge. After my experience with 1994 Ram Truck. Transmission went out at about 50,000 miles. They rebuilt it and it never felt right after. Shifted hard and at the wrong time. I’d of thought they’d come up with a better transmission by now. Looking at Winnebago 59K but I don’t know.
If all the promaster transmission went out after 30k they'd be out of business. Sometimes things happen, but a lot of folks push their vehicles pretty to 'save' money.
The comparison wasn't so much physical aspects of the build but the personal preferences which is the bottom line. I thank you for sharing your opinions. Not everyone can experience going thru the many different kinds of RV's as you did, so IMO renting different kinds makes sense until you find one that 'feels just right'.
Catamaran is what we choose so we can get off the roads and tour the Bahamas since they are close. Love your camper. Enjoy and maybe we can get together in September. Looking for land to build a house.
We are working on ramping up and putting out more videos. We might try some short form videos that don't take so long to shoot and edit and get published. Stay tuned!....and thanks for watching our channel!
Thanks for the video,, was very informative. I am looking into a class B and you might be able to help me. What happens when you need to go shopping and have to break camp, When you get back has anyone ever taken your spot?
We have a 21 coachmen galleria 24T with the Li3 package. I removed the radio and installed a Roku soundbar. I like the coachmen quality over the jayco/thor. I like the Li3 package with the dog because I can run the AC for 6 to 8 hours without running a generator. So if we stop for a meal or sightsee I don’t have to worry the dog for a couple hours.
That is the very reason I would actually prefer the Li3 package myself...for the dog. We are going to look into upgrading our unit to lithium and see what all is involved. Of course the generator on these new units is so quiet, you can stand right next to the exhaust pipe and comfortably have a conversation.....BUT....it would make me nervous to leave Skipper in the van alone while the generator is running in case of carbon monoxide getting into the van.
We own the Jayco swift LI and love it, had it a few years…we’ve had 9 coaches in 35 yrs lol class B’s are great, for better side sleep cot size trifold mattresses 6 inch memory foam Wayfair has them best sleep ever, don’t be afraid to off road we do in ours, curious though why you opted for a generator? Ours has no generator nor propane
We've had so many different RV's in the past, and one thing we really enjoy is boondocking where there are no services or hookups. I have found that a generator running off the main tank is just so convenient and in some cases the only truly reliable source of power under many different conditions. Traveling in the Smoky Mountains as we used to do a good bit. It is rare that you will find a place to camp/stay that is not heavily shaded, rendering solar about useless. The ultimate set up would be to have both! Thanks for watching!
I LOVE your posts. A serious Keys Q: if you didn't own a car (I can't drive) is there a town/key better suited for someone w/ disabilities like me? THX!
There are some areas here that would be more conducive for your situation, although most likely not perfect. Feel free to give me a call and I can discuss your specific situation and see if I can share any information with you that might help! Mark Gable LLC, Coco Plum Real Estate, 770-561-6091
Congratulations on the ban guys. 🙂 I definitely agree with you. The best RV is the one you will actually use. We live in Sarasota and have a Class A diesel pusher. We have two sets of everything so the only thing we have to do is transfer the contents of the refrigerator to the RV and grab the cat and we are ready to go. We have a Lincoln MKX that we flat tow behind us so we can explore when we get places. You definitely hit it right on the nail head. Our motorhome is our hurricane escape vehicle. We are also blessed to be able to store ours at home. That makes loading so easy.
Yep, we've found after many different types of RV's that at this stage in our life the van is the perfect fit because we can just grab it and go without making any huge plans. Thanks for watching!
@@GablesOnTheGo I am glad to hear that you two leave for hurricanes. They are nothing to play with or take lightly. Plus the van is much easier to store and park in the Key's.
Y'all did a great job on the van tours. I would be concerned about the rear clearance under the Dodge. With the dual rear wheels on the Ford you can pull a boat and not worry about the van swaying. I assume the HVAC are both mounted on the roofs of the vans. I would the Ford too. Safe travels. 😊
We had a Thor Vegas, which is classified as a Class A, but really it's just a Class C van chassis with a front cap and big windshield which makes it look like a tiny Class A. But we have not owned a true Class C.
I have to watch the rest of your videos. However do you shower in it? How do you use this van? For camping? Or traveling to hotels also? Do you go on a lot of weekend trips? How long can you stay in it comfortably? Thank you for sharing .
I don't know how you folks use your van, but for me your fridge far too small and there is not enough storage. I get the rear bath, but I'm 6'3" and have showered in wet baths sitting on the toilet doing it in stages. I dunno ... but for me the fridge, the tanks, and bed matters. I think those beds are barely 28" wide; to small for some people. I'd give up the long central aisle for more storage on a 22C you have the walkway during the day and cover it at night.
I am looking at it and for the same reasons you do it could be great during the desester my State can get hit by a major earthquake and with the RV my family will have a place to stay in not going to a shelter with everyone just couples month ago we had a brush fire near my house and need to get out my family got everything ready to go in five minutes including the dog and the cat 😢 IT was a scramble to get everything ready but luckily the fire department was able to control the fires and and we were back to the house 😂 I have a starlink dish just for this type of emergency 😂 maybe you can look into the starlink connections as long as you have a clear sky you should have the Internet cell phone can lost service 😮
I'm so glad your house was okay. It is a good plan to have an RV for those crazy situations. We actually just found out that iphones (don't know about android phones) with the iOS18 can access starlink for emergencies, I think they only allow 30 seconds at a time but that sure would be helpful.
Pick the Beyond. You're correct not comparing apples to apples, your comparing apples to lemons. Looking at the overhead cabinets in the Jayco says it all. Door misalignment is what stands out. It's what we don't see that concerns me.
Big ugly wall on that ford! Not sure what size tv would actually fit in that mount to offset that wall. Jayco/Ram is a better overall class B. Im sure the Awning can be updated.
We actually looked into that very thing. We found that although it is certainly possible, to get one rigged the way we wanted it, it was about the same cost and actually higher with some builders...and certainly a VERY long timeframe. However, I agree with you, it could be a really good path for some folks. Great suggestion!
Thanks very much for telling us the prices of the two B class vans. It helps to be able to discern value for us.
Our pleasure!
You are such a nice couple. Great review. I like the Ford too.
Thanks so much!

Boondocking in the Keys...hmmm...I'm not sure where but maybe we could locate somewhere that could be done...but not really sure. Thanks for watching!

Have you looked at the travato. If you have .. what do you think? It looks like the Coachmen Beyond
A lot of those are very similar. We like the Ford chassis and driving position the best.

Totally agree with the Ford driving way better than the others
Great comparison.
Macerator on your van? Thanks

PS, I love your Gables on the go logo. Not sure if I ever saw it before, but it is great ❤
Glad you like it!
Both make for damn fine escape pods. Put the hurricane in the rear view mirror.
Nice to see you back with a new video. You are my favorite TH-cam channel. But take to long to put up new videos.

Glad it was helpful. No problems with that, we usually leave some stuff to show we are camping there unless it is a paid site.

We have towed our 21 ft to the The keys plenty in our Jayco swift LI there’s always a fellow boater who will help back up the boat at the marina
Hi Gables On The Go. Have you had a samll class c? Thanks for the side by side review.
We had a Thor Vegas, which is classified as a Class A, but really it's just a Class C van chassis with a front cap and big windshield which makes it look like a tiny Class A. But we have not owned a true Class C.
How tall are you? My husband is 5"11 just wondering how far back you can adjust your seat to and leg room
Mark is 5'10" and the driver seat is fine for him.
I have to watch the rest of your videos. However do you shower in it? How do you use this van? For camping? Or traveling to hotels also? Do you go on a lot of weekend trips? How long can you stay in it comfortably? Thank you for sharing .

The ford is me too….thanks
Grech !!

Cool van, man.

which RV is best? the one you rent. 😄
Can't say I disagree with you there Mike....would be a lot cheaper for sure!

Apples to oranges comparison. Guess why.
Please share....

Prettier every video
Get a van and have it custom built and save 50k...end of story

All those way overpriced vans are way too small, even for one person.
