    WOW! What a superbly recorded performance--it's crystal clear! You can hear everything! And the musical performance is fantastic. Much better than RNCM and Sadler Wells performances I've heard. Extra special kudos to the clarinetist! (Don't you just love obsessive repetition 😜) You might have told the audience upfront why there are 8 movements here instead of the Quintet's 6. I must say that the dance was somewhat overpowered by Prokofiev's music. But that is nothing new--pretty much the same critical response after the Gotha (Germany) premiere. Thank you ALL!

    Absolutely amazing that this exists, isn't this the only recording available of this piece?
