Your words are kind but I do have to say, what does 107 look like? There are so few living people that age, there’s really no standard. Her energy is inspiring though. My grandma lived to be 100 but by that point was on oxygen and used a walker.
How many people have you got to compare with ? You can be very agile with 90 or in a wheelchair - there is no valid stereotype any more; and you never know, whether you die the next day or live another 20 years.
What an angel. In just 18 minutes, I felt like I knew Nonnie my entire life. I never knew any of my grandparents, this video gave me a sense of what it would be like to be around one.
Nonnie knows what to do with life. She sits when she is tired. She goes when she has energy. She knows what she wants. She walks in truth. You go, girl!
Yes but the elderly are a vast encyclopedia of knowledge and shouldn't be deemed as to be EXPENDABLE. Throughout my childhood years I have learned a lot from the elderly people. I can still remember sitting on the benches and talking with the elderly people. What today's generation doesn't realize is that ONE DAY THEY WILL BE OLD TOO.
I am only76 but Nonnie's story could be my own. My husband left me with 4 children alive when I was 38 and I worked to bring them up and make a new life for myself. Anyone young reading this, please listen to your father if he is not happy with your choice. I now have good adult children, 8 grandchildren and 1 gorgeous great grandson who I hope to meet when Covid finally wears itself out!! May she rest in peace.
“I don’t want anybody but me” reason why she is 107 and striving. She is a beautiful soul and her stories I could listen to her all night long. God Bless her. ✨
And this is how true character looks like: honesty, truthfulness, strength, and beauty inside out. There's hope we can grow old in a nice and positive way!
Her very small stature, genes, positive and calm outlook on life and ofcourse being female helped her longevity. To reach 107 is one thing. But to still be able to think, talk and walk like that at that age. Only a few on this whole planet will be able to experience that.
Ive a very special person in my life I've nicknamed Nana" bc I'm 1/2 British,& my real,Nana genetic) not only passed yrs ago) but was very verbally abusive just though to my mum,& myself. To the point of making mum drink( socially always ..but increasingly more) from the stress ,me start as a teen become to run w a badass crowd. However this was all many years ago my real bio Nana passed ...I'm now in my 50s....Saw this elderly yes very heard she was actually 100! She'd always smile at me. Her hair done on pointe, makeup always done nicely, dressed nice. One day we simply struck up a conversation. LONG BEFORE VIRUS She mentioned she had a cat,I said oh so do I. Think,it was quite awhile ago) She invited me in,we live on the same floor) I met her tabby, this woman has that same open kind heart She showed me HER WEDDING PHOTOS Well upon asking if she had any photos I may like? She's STILL BEAUTIFUL I asked her after explained my true Nana story if she'd FILL IN" For the job. She said of course. Since then before COVID she had a stint put in her heart. But, She's still sweet as sugar Due to Nana age, she's high risk to COVID I miss her very much. I recall one Christmas we did cards together,it was rather smashing. It reminded me of doing those things w my mum & Dad deceased yrs past. These sweet women who add sunshine into our lives, must be protected at all costs!!! Also neglected to add she used to BAKE COOKIES SHORTBREADS LIKE MY MUM SAY HERE DEAR HAVE SOME!! 💕💕💕💕💕
@Jacob Dawson Living a healthy lifestyle mostly helps your healthspan, lifespan not so much. Alot of the so called health gurus died in their age 80's and 90's. While the people with APOE, FOXO3 genes can live relative unhealthy lifestyles, but still reach centenarian status. Fasting/caloric restriction combined with low stress and some weightlifting probably has the biggest positive effect on longevity. Most people will need to look at the future science to reach centenarian. Hopefully, some gene editing therapy will be available within 50 years thats affordable. But most likely genetically engineered babies will all reach extreme longevity 110+. To reach that naturally you need to pick your parents as baby. ;)
mark veen a lot of these elders" sort of have a routine as we ALL SHOULD FOR OPTIMUM HEALTH Her saying TAKE EVERY DAY AS IT COMES" IS BRILLIANT ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😷😷😷😷⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😇😇🎂🎂 You never know your health tomorrow ( I say) She's 4feet 4" I stand 5 feet 8-1/2" I'd tower OVER Nonnie She's a tiny bird that packs a lot of punch" literally.... Though I'm a bit surprised to have watched in the dinner scene she had no wine. But she may be on some medicines we don't know of,course they'd not show that it's personal cause it is!!! I bet she's the best cook! I used to work with some Italian women, Some of the nicest hard working funniest , AWESOME COOKS EVER IN MY 1/2 BRIT 1/2 CDN life!!!! When I got sick,a group of them brought me flowers when MY SOB BF wouldnt I was in hospital for female related issues you know? Us UK ppl..personal& all. I do believe in family & if you REALLY LISTEN TO HER YOULL TAKE AWAY SO MUCH Forgive forget The next day comes. The music is rad cool! No I'm not Italian... But love food / culture esp GELATO ICE CREAM So do something kind for yourself or your partner. In lieu of this lovely lady. Spread Italian joy ( I don't speak any) fablioso(??) I made an effort Nonnie!!! If you have no Nonnie, try & adopt one as I have. CHEERS No one lives happy everyday like Nonnie explained. Seek TRUE LOVE
Yes. This is quite strange bcuz I have a 101 yr old client that can barely walk and she sleeps ALL DAY. Making meals is out of the question so to see this woman so active is quite interesting. Makes me wonder if they're lying about her age🤔
She has so much wisdom & When she spoke of abortion she had realized too much of anything burns. She probably saved herself another 10 good years of quality life. Its about Quaility Not Quantity !
My husband has a 92 year old grandmother, when his mother passed away he promised her on her death bed he would call his grandmother everyday and he has called her everyday for 3 years. He says she is the high light of his day. He gets so much history from her. She is the best.
@@nyarjaluo8763 Yes it is freeing! Hard for some to get it when I say I let it go for ME not them. Doesn’t mean I forget or gonna be BFF, just means I refuse to let that grudge suck me under lol. I truly believe that thinking and talking about it much just fuels that negative energy until it takes over.
I had a spiteful Mother-in-Law and I determined early in life that I would be the best and kindest Mother, Mother -in-Law and Grandmother that I could possibly be..It has worked beautifully..All the love is coming back to me..I am 90 and loving life..
Very well said. I would love to have conversations with my father, my grandmothers, who are now passed. The only history left is what little I was told and remember. There are stories that are lost to the wind. Very sad. Talk to your elders. ask questions before it's too late.
@Yokai 369 Get a better hobby; the solace you get from trolling is like any other addiction: short lived, evermore demanding and actually just a small band aid on a big wound you don't want to look at because it's starting to smell.
I just googled that she died, but lived to 107 years and 202 days. What a great lady! A real inspiration and surrounded by the love and warmth of her beautiful family. Bless her long and joyous life. Nonnie was one of a kind.
This lady reminds me of my mother. My mom was Italian too. Lots of tough times alone , raised 3 kids alone. My mom lived to 97 years. I took care of here until she passed. I miss my mom.
To be bitter simply consumes you, my story isn’t as harrowing as hers but it’s quite dreadful - all at the hands of an ex husband, i like her have found peace for my own sanity and well-being. Nobody likes a bitter person ❤️ least of all yourself.
In my Lakota Culture, we only become full fledged adult at 50, when we can have an opinion at the table. I just turned 51 and I still feel 23....don't listen to main stream society tell you you're old. We're both still young.
That's true. When you have no family and not even friends, you lack emotional support, people to celebrate the good times with and help you through the bad. And that actually does take a toll on physical and mental health.
@@aviancag8716 I just wish people who are lucky enough to have that, realised how lucky they are, and helped out those who don't. But for whatever reason, those people are always saying things like, "family first" and, "no one matters who isn't family". They don't care about people who are alone, lonely & isolated. Skeleton
She's responsible for that big, beautiful family & they all love her & respect her...gathering every Sunday for good food, love, felliwship. I love this lady.
i find your comment is so delusional. the human long life is connected with god destiny and wisdom . therefore , the healthy lifestyle is not applicable to secret a long life . some healthy people still die in early age .
Yes, her family is supporting her and letting her live in her home. Also, she had a big family which was smart. She didnt buy into the lie that many of us did by limiting our children to 2.
@@macpduff2119 Well, she lived in a time when prices and opportunities were different. Today, I can't even afford having a cat under the same roof with me. My beloved pet lived mostly away from me and longing for me. She died and I couldn't go there for her to help or to keep her company. It was extremely painful. I can imagine that if she were a child it would have been hell on Earth. So...
Cognitive decline is not a normal part of aging. Many think it is and it is becoming more common, but the older a person is, the less they were poisoned in development and when it really matters. Unlike these days when most people will either get cancer or dementia or both!
Louise Bonito entered into eternal peace on November 14, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Louise "Lulu" was born in New Haven on April 26, 1913 Thank you for the wonderful memories, enjoy heaven and Jesus.
Somehow I stumbled upon this video. I watched the whole thing. And when it came to all of you hugging your grandmother… I fell apart. Thank you for sharing her. We lost our mother 15 years ago. She reminds me a lot of my mother. My father is 98 years young now… I am reminded, I must make time for him, more than I have in the past. Thank you again for sharing this! It’s life-changing to hear someone who has experienced so much. I am reminded that even though we may feel like we’ve been alone through many things, I am reminded, we can all survive difficulties. Ultimately we all end up with quite a legacy, when we hang in there… May God continue to bless your grandmother and your beautiful family.
I'm so glad she's honest about her life & marriage. So many times you hear stories about a family/ love ones past, but you never get the truth. People don't understand it's the true stories that help others. She's such a doll!!
So true because we are in a world where people put up a front about having the perfect marriage on social media when behind closed doors they are catching hell and barely holding it together.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
So true. People romanticize the past and we feel condemned because we aren't measuring up. When in reality, few things have changed other than hairstyles!
When you're on your way to the church to get married, and your dad tells you it's not too late to back out, there's a reason. He knew what he was talking about. Glad she survived and thrived in spite of that husband. What a great lady!
Not always. I was told my boyfriend my now husband wasn't shit and I would have to support him. The truth is he went to the army, got out and is working while I take care of our son and he treats me with love and care something my family never did. EDIT: Been married for 10 years now.
@@yukisuperstylish She would have married a better guy and had an even more wonderful family. Conforming to inhumane people is putting a limit on our humanity.

She literally made my life better in these 18 minutes !!! Love her spirit and her family is blessed with her as much as she is blessed with them !!! Adorable...loving...wonderful !!!
“Respect from family is more important than money” gosh I commend her honesty. Some people even from more recent generations would be too modest to share their experiences on some of those topics but it will benefit a lot of people. Nonnie is so special!
Having a mother for almost 97 years was the most blessed thing in my life!! She was also know as Nonny, though the spelling was different. I love this woman as she reminds me so much of my Mom. My Mother passed away Sept 30th, 2021. At this age we feel like they will live forever. She will always be a legend as this Nonnie and no one will ever be able to fill their shoes. Lots of times when they leave this earth we go our separate ways because they were the glue that held us together. Maybe that's the secret they leave behind...we all stay together, live out the memories, have the Sunday dinners, and in doing that we begin to fill their shoes back up!! All my love to your Nonnie...may she be blessed with many more year!!🥰
She had three sons, too. We have a large family like hers, and it's those Sunday dinners that knit the generations together; all the laughter, conversations, and most of all, loving one another. Made me miss my own grandmother so much!
@@lucysmith6827 my mam always did Sunday dinner and it was talking ,laughing ect.she died 2006 and family fell apart doesnt exist in my life any more.i have bad health and it seems I make it up.just awful and I dont have my mam to speak to I miss her dearly.no more meet ups all gone just my husband and l.xx
This woman is incredible for her age and hat she's been through: she's in good physical and mental condition at 107 years old :o She seems like she's in her early 80's
@Chris C There might be something to that. There's been some recent evidence showing that caloric restriction (and being underweight) can lead to a longer life. So that would be in alignment with what you said about "fewer cells" for the body to manage. Good luck to most people with that, though! Most folks in our food-obsessed culture would rather die than restrict calories!
@Cran1um92 Actually, what happened was I watched two documentaries on the same day about two different old ladies and I accidentally commented on this one about the other lady. If you want I can show you the link. Her story was interesting too, but I think she died 6 months after it aired, or was it this lady? Lol I'm sorry. It's definitely my fault for watching them both right in a row and then getting their stories confused.
She conformed. To her husband’s treatment of her. He left her - not the other way around. I’m glad she got to live without him, but sadly she did conform. Her gift and message to women today is not to conform like she did.
Imagine, this woman has lived through both World Wars, The Great Depression, lived with abuser and suffered the unspeakable. And through it all, she fought her way through life. Raised a lot of children alone with next to nothing. She rolled up her sleeves and got on with life. She’s from a generation we will never see again. A generation that expected life to be tough, that didn’t blame anyone else for the lot they’d been handed, that never made excuses, that didn’t know the meaning of ‘bored’ because they were too busy working. This is a generation that understood what having nothing and being hungry meant, so they were always the first to remember their neighbour in need. They succeeded in life not because they amassed wealth but because they were wise and generous with the little they had. She’s from a generation we’ll never see again. God bless you Nonnie❤️🌹♥️
Brilliant, Susanna. If we could only find a way to share the emotions of those days with the current generation, have them feel the atmosphere that made people like our grandparents and great-grandparents. And, ultimately made more than a few like us. But, we are now standing alone with our memories of a richer time. Every day that I live, I appreciate more what we had.
@@francinegray9383 I'm 53 and oh how I would love to go back to that time and have lived. I would probably have passed by now, but that would be fine with me as what we are seeing now is just so breaking my heart. I can only pray that God will have mercy and heal our land & her people. God bless you dear one.
Imagine being born in 1913 and seeing 2020, she literally saw the future most of her generation couldn't fathom, what a Queen. This is why u need to stay FIT
Yes she is! I'm only sorry or sad for a couple of things, that her husband was such a jerk, and that she has been deceived by the Catholic religion into praying to St.Anne! I was raised Catholic and my grandparents were wonderful people just like her! But once I read The Holy Bible and realized Father God said it is an abomination to pray to anyone else but Him in Jesus Christ Holy name.He says not call anyone else Father also. I pray for everyone who has been deceived and led astray by man made religions!
@Tony Feuggelen although you're the first part of your statement is highly ***H I G H L Y*** debatable, religion is of value, sure many people do horrible things in the name of religion (and if they do in my opinion they are missing the point), but many more do positive humanitarian acts for others in the name of religion. Religion *is* worth something, it gives people a reason to do good things, a reason to improve themselves, a place or person to turn to in times of dispare. Whether it works? I say who cares. Even if it's just placebo, it prevents some suicides and keeps some people around longer than otherwise, it's kept Nonnie around (bless her soul), so I'd say it's worth it. Those who do harm are missing the point.
This hits me right in the feels. My Nonna was like this & died in August 2020. I broke quarantine to go visit her. I’ll never regret that. I kissed her & hugged her & got one last kiss like Nonnie gave her grandkids & said goodbye. Will never regret that. Her mama (Bella Nonna) died at 108. She made it to 93, God bless her.
W hat a beautiful lovely lady god watch ed over you, because he saw your, lovely nature and empathy for everyone else.you had a good life my darling, god watch over you xxxjackie
What a sweet and tough lil lady. I really enjoyed this video although I was sad to hear she passed. God bless her soul and comfort her family. They were truly blessed to have her for such a long length of time. Treasure your loved ones while they are here, just like Nonnie's family.
My mum died in 2015 at the age of 93. I miss talking to her so much. My mum's memory at that age was fantastic. It was better than mine and I'm 64 lol. Nonnie put a smile on my face. What a blessing!
That's sad so many broken relationships so much dysfunction in a world where love is destroyed, she's survived and thrived in spite of it all, such a strange world.
PLEASE. We need her traditional Italian recipes. Especially, MEATBALLS. She reminds me of my Nan, who would have been 110 this year. Same height. Rotten husband. Her advice. Yes. No grudge. Forgive, wish them well, and let it go. Resentment shortens our life, and makes us sick. We used to help each other. Like she said. Glad her family still have their Nonnie. God bless
It’s awesome this love for Italian recipes!!!! I’m Italian, came from Bologna and meatballs are special Sunday dish 😍... in Italian called “polpette col sugo”... god bless you too and every American!!!!
I just found this wonderful channel last week looking for basil pesto....Buon-A-Petitti "Italian Grandma" on TH-cam. We have fallen in love with Nonna Gina!!.....Bringing Italian cooking, memories of my Italian grandma and love into our home. I am so happy to have found Gina and I think that is why this grandma Nonnie popped up for me today and I am so glad too!!! Be well everyone.....(She sometimes sings too :) 💜
I've come to the conclusion that family is what keeps you alive and going strong. So special to have family show up once a week on Sundays for dinner as they used to many years ago.
One key to relieving stress is to have at least one thing per week to look forward to. Nonnie knows she has company for dinner on Sunday and that gives her one more thing to live for....they truly seem to love and revere her and respect and appreciate their crown jewel of the family, their beloved Nonnie.
107 and she has all her faculties! She knows everybody, she can carry on complete conversations, she alert and sharp. She appears to get up after sitting with no pain in her knees. She comes from some great DNA heritage! She was ahead of her time because women didn't leave or throw men out. Nice lady!
I am so appreciative of all the loving responses that Nonnie Grand Ma hsve been getting, she truly deserves them all, especially the great love shown and given by her family and friends. She is really blessed by Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Amen! Love her so very much. Hope God continues to richly Bless her throughout her days in life's Glory!
A common trait in the over 100 crowd is their enthusiasm for life and their sticking to a routine of early to bed and early to rise and staying involved in life all day long (plus a little nap). Up with the chickens, eat a good breakfast, make the bed, comb the hair, tidy up around the house and a zest for living. Godspeed Nonnie.....sending prayerful thoughts your way. May St. Anne bless you always as you continue to live healthy, wealthy w/a large loving family and wise. Wow, what a woman!
"And they all respect me, which is more than a million dollars"...dear Nonnie, this is so very true and a real blessing in life. I wish more people would respect and treat each other well. Knowing, we all will leave one day, we should try and make more memorable and loving moments...in the end this is all what is left...our beautiful memories
This made my morning! She’s so sweet, I’d can sit and hear her stories for hours! But one thing she said is so true, people HAVE changed. Family, neighbors, friends all looked out for each other. Now, if they ain’t getting nothing, they doing nothing.....God bless her and soul 😊
D ... she means that people looked out for each. They checked you. You had the neighbor helping you take care of your family. Everybody in the neighborhood knew who parents were! I was born in the 70s and that’s how it was for me growing up 😌
She is precious! When I worked, I worked for the Visiting Nurses as a Home Health Aid. I loved my job. I once had a patient that was 108 years old. Still very sharp with a mind of her own. I miss them. They are a wealth of knowledge. This video was great. Thank you and God bless.
She is a blessing that her family.. I love her determination… some support of her children.. I did too with 4 children, working 2 and 3 jobs… now at 89 and blessed with 5 Generations of a beautiful family.. thank you Jesus🙏
Everyone on this planet should be blessed with a daughter, sister, mother: granddaughter, great, great great woman like this. Nonnie you are an inspiration to all women. May you continue to be blessed in life with God’s abundant blessings. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us, its truly been a gift.
She has family around, this helps with longevity. And she has lots to look forward to, including the casino! Everyone would be blessed to have someone like her in their home.
I had someone just like her in my life. It was one of the greatest blessings I’ve known. I was her caretaker for a couple years then she moved but we maintained a friendship until her passing. She didn’t live as long as Nonnie though. She departed at the spry young age of 93. Miss her all the time.
I agree. I have nobody left. People are not friendly these days. People do not talk. They seem to have no stories. It's difficult to be friends when people don't talk.
@Ms. Buschhorn I had so any friends. #1 out of 680 million for digital photography including art. I passed the CME's ( medical tests for dr.), I also was in a medical practice and had a desk etc. I belonged to my car dealer ...I did their pictures for their website plus they helped me getting extras for my vehicle. I was a person who enjoyed going and I belonged to the art society, I did everything. I had however a husband who was severely jealous. He pl promised he would make me homeless pushing a cart......well I had 9 cameras....I participated in Health and Human Services, I was a photographer for town hall meetings, I did for my car dealer and they helped me even with insurance, I belonged to the medical society in my area meaning... I had 12 specialists! I am a miracle! I survived 3 times. Last my husband killed me! Nothing was done to hell me despite I had a record of abuse 100 miles long. I ended up being prey to others who stepped up. I LOST EVERYTHING, AND THEY BELONGED TO THE MEDICAL SOCIETY I DID. HOWEVER THEY TOOK MY RECORDS.!!!! THEN the dr. Who took me in and helped me in every way? He died after falling!!!! I was being sued for the alimoney I got.....the attorney never was for me and the POA got him for me. I ended up loosing alimoney and everything. Suddenly nobody , I qualify for home health had them for 15 years! Now? NOBODY! I HAVE NO FAMILY. NO BODY AT ALL LEFT. MY BEST FRIENDS DUED 3 YEARS AGO. THE nurse POA contacted everyone......somehow destroyed me and took everything I had left. M I hope that answers your doubts. I cannot continue. I have no food, I never see or go out. I am unable to walk. I needed home aides which I picked.....suddenly I was rejected. So....I am not going to make it.
I just want to thank you for lovingly taking the time to make this video. It inspired me to see that I can push through Painful life events and still make meatballs on Sunday with a smile.

It's hard for folks to be completely honest and I'm glad she shared the truth about what she went though . It is helpful just to know others can survive it and thrive! God bless her.
Especially during those times. SO many women endure lifetimes of abuse and discontentment. She’s a beautiful example of “light at the end of the tunnel.”

Jme, then you know what your work is to do in your lifetime--make yourself your own version of her so you can help guide these next generations who have often never known self sufficiency in anything, more often isolation though surrounded by people, not at all the same thing... And this is how true character looks like: honesty, truthfulness, strength, and beauty inside out. There's hope we can grow old in a nice and positive way!
Its my lifelong dream to grow old in such a graceful way ,wished all the best too
Her very small stature, genes, positive and calm outlook on life and ofcourse being female helped her longevity. To reach 107 is one thing. But to still be able to think, talk and walk like that at that age. Only a few on this whole planet will be able to experience that.
Even her positive attitude is from genes. People inherit a disposition. You're fortunate if you are born with a positive, calm personality.
LONG BEFORE VIRUS
She mentioned she had a cat,I said oh so do I.
Think,it was quite awhile ago)
She invited me in,we live on the same floor)
I met her tabby, this woman has that same open kind heart
She showed me HER WEDDING PHOTOS Well upon asking if she had any photos I may like?
She's STILL BEAUTIFUL
I asked her after explained my true Nana story if she'd FILL IN" For the job.
She said of course.
Since then before COVID she had a stint put in her heart.
But,
She's still sweet as sugar
Due to Nana age, she's high risk to COVID
I miss her very much.
I recall one Christmas we did cards together,it was rather smashing.
It reminded me of doing those things w my mum & Dad deceased yrs past.
These sweet women who add sunshine into our lives, must be protected at all costs!!!
Also neglected to add she used to BAKE COOKIES SHORTBREADS LIKE MY MUM
SAY HERE DEAR HAVE SOME!!
To reach that naturally you need to pick your parents as baby. ;)

Though I'm a bit surprised to have watched in the dinner scene she had no wine.
But she may be on some medicines we don't know of,course they'd not show that it's personal cause it is!!!

Yes. This is quite strange bcuz I have a 101 yr old client that can barely walk and she sleeps ALL DAY. Making meals is out of the question so to see this woman so active is quite interesting. Makes me wonder if they're lying about her age🤔
I clicked on this by accident and loved every last second. She made my heart warm and bright. Truly someone to adore.
She has so much wisdom & When she spoke of abortion she had realized too much of anything burns. She probably saved herself another 10 good years of quality life. Its about Quaility Not Quantity !

This lady has learned the secret to long life- keep anger and hate out of your heart ❤️ what a wonderful family she has too.
I had a spiteful Mother-in-Law and I determined early in life that I would be the best and kindest Mother, Mother -in-Law and Grandmother that I could possibly be..It has worked beautifully..All the love is coming back to me..I am 90 and loving life..

Sometimes staying angry is hard to stop. It's not a voluntary feeling. The advice is correct though.
Keeps me 18-23 yrs younger! Only ❤️ in this heart!!!
When an old person dies, a library burns to the ground. Talk to the elderly, learn their stories.
Very wise words. Thanks for sharing.
Could not agree with you more!!!! 💞
Very well said. I would love to have conversations with my father, my grandmothers, who are now passed. The only history left is what little I was told and remember. There are stories that are lost to the wind. Very sad. Talk to your elders. ask questions before it's too late.
@Yokai 369 how rude.
She was a special lady
How did she die?
Her father saw right through her husband's character but sometimes we love people who are not good for us.
We sometimes do don't we? 💝
😥
All the time.. and those who genuinely love us, we feel little or nothing for. It's a curse..
true, i was just thinking that.
I wish daughters to listen to their fathers (parents). Parents have so much more experience in life.
This lady reminds me of my mother. My mom was Italian too. Lots of tough times alone , raised 3 kids alone. My mom lived to 97 years. I took care of here until she passed. I miss my mom.

Her life story is profound. Abused but refused to be bitter. Admonishing others to freely forgive. She is beautiful.
Yeah! She got abortion but she forgive anyway

It is her large, extended family that loves her that keeps her living.
That's true. When you have no family and not even friends, you lack emotional support, people to celebrate the good times with and help you through the bad. And that actually does take a toll on physical and mental health.
Yes faith and family. And she didn’t mind keeping it real with her family, not a faker. Lovely hardworking woman.

This really touched me. Her honesty about her life is refreshing.
shes 107, but look at the family she's surrounded with . you hardly see that today 2020 .
Yes, her family is supporting her and letting her live in her home. Also, she had a big family which was smart. She didnt buy into the lie that many of us did by limiting our children to 2.
That’s the good thing about Italians, they have big families and are big ON family. It is refreshing to see that these days, i agree. :)

I care for people in their 50's who look and act like they're 110. So sad. Health is the true wealth.
@Tiger Tierra The cognitive? Look it up!
Cognitive decline is not a normal part of aging. Many think it is and it is becoming more common, but the older a person is, the less they were poisoned in development and when it really matters. Unlike these days when most people will either get cancer or dementia or both!

I'm so glad she's honest about her life & marriage. So many times you hear stories about a family/ love ones past, but you never get the truth. People don't understand it's the true stories that help others.

we are.
God bless

Nice lady!
Hi there.. how are you doing? Hope you are fine and staying safe over there??
The blessings and love after all the suffering. God bless her and her family! ❤️❤️❤️
"I don't hold grudges. But sometimes someone comes ... and should get a kick in the ass." Brava Nonnie! God bless always and in all ways.
Holding grudges makes ppl sick
I am so appreciative of all the loving responses that Nonnie Grand Ma hsve been getting, she truly deserves them all, especially the great love shown and given by her family and friends. She is really blessed by Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Amen! Love her so very much. Hope God continues to richly Bless her throughout her days in life's Glory!
This lady is a class act. Wealthy in wisdom and family. A true role model.
Nonnie is awesome Lady
That’s my girl. I’m 71 and I love the casino. I hope to live as long as her and have so much life. She is blessed with a family. I subscribed ❤️
I was born in the 70s and that’s how it was for me growing up 😌
It’s not too late to be the change 💕
3 AM
My people are still like that
Tears right now. She is a jewel and so blessed to have this loving family.
I wished I had someone like her in my family. The whole entire family is so blessed to have her.
I agree! :)
and Nonnie stays active.
Great Paula, You can do it !! this is what love is about, being loving, non judgemental, and doing for the family and others. You CAN do it, and I admire you for wanting to. Go, girl, the world is yours to make your own decisions. I am doing likewise.
She was beautiful when she was younger, and yes, she is still beautiful today.
She let herself go
@@paulgalvani2141 um, she's 107. It's called aging! She looks great.
@@paulgalvani2141 And how will you look when you're 107 ?
She's beautiful - inside and out
Shes so strong and still cooking every day and running her house. What an inspiration that you can age gracefully!!
It's hard for folks to be completely honest and I'm glad she shared the truth about what she went though . It is helpful just to know others can survive it and thrive! God bless her.
She's from a different time when that shit flew but she remained strong
Especially during those times. SO many women endure lifetimes of abuse and discontentment. She’s a beautiful example of “light at the end of the tunnel.”
She is just adorable and I wish that I could meet and hug her. She is a grand and a great person. So remarkable that I think a movie should be made of her life. God bless her forever! Lots of love to her. I am in tears now. 🥰
RIP Nonnie. What a long and rich life you lived.
When did she pass??
@@nonfadeable November 14th 2020 :(
@@MoonBread_ NOOO my heart 💔
What a precious lady she was. 😥
@@Nadz_1699 she would have made it for prob another 10 years.but covid19 killed a lot of people and loneliness killed the rest
I see that nonnie died 6 months later. Rip nonnie, you lived a good life and gave to many others.
Her mission on earth was complete
Oh no!!!
Well, there's goes the box of Kleenex.
Where does it say she died six months later? I couldn't find it. 108 years young. A good life.
that was so sad,
Why am I crying? I miss my gramma so much! She was just like this. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore. 💗🙏🏼💗
If it means anything, she reminds me of my own Nonni & even though she’s been gone for decades she made me cry & miss my own NONNI.
Me too! She reminds me of my Mom...I miss her everyday...Im crying too and Im not a crier...💔
Jme, then you know what your work is to do in your lifetime--make yourself your own version of her so you can help guide these next generations who have often never known self sufficiency in anything, more often isolation though surrounded by people, not at all the same thing... Straight talking, dignity, from the heart--for us all to hold ourselves to, especailly as we come into the later years, when what we chose shows...!
❤
I miss my grandmother too. I agree, they really don't make them like that anymore. That's such a true statement. This generation had so much wisdom. I miss that type of wisdom.
This is the greatest example of love and respect for your mother or grandmother. Why can't the world have this ?? I absolutely love this!! I just want to hug her and laugh with her!!!
Wow I can't believe how wonderful she looks, she walks great talks great and a great out look on life. The world needs more people like this beautiful woman. God Bless her.
I didn’t want this to end, my heart is now filled up with love 💖
Mine too . . 😔 Miss my granddad. They're the anchors which keep us grounded.
She 107 and still standing, strong, her memory is still intact....God bless her
She just has incredible genes. I expect this lady to live another 10-12+ years. WOW.
I think she is inmortal...
I lost my grandmother recently, one thing I will say with utmost heart and certainty is I loved her so much but she always loved me more. My life today will not have merit without her. She was great.
There’s nothing more funny than a nonna with a bit of spunk and attitude!
