This quick and flavorful recipe combines rice, potatoes, and peas with savory spices for a perfect no-waste meal.
Method for Leftover Salan Aloo Matar Pulao:
*Ingredients:*
Leftover Aloo Matar Salan
2 glasses of rice (washed and soaked for 20 minutes)
1 onion (chopped)
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tomato (chopped)
3 green chilies (sliced)
Whole garam masala (1 bay leaf, 2-3 cloves, 1 cinnamon stick, 2-3 black peppercorns)
3 glasses of water
Salt to taste (optional, adjust depending on salan)
*Steps:*
1. *Fry the Aromatics:*
Heat oil in a pot and fry the chopped onion until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute. Toss in whole garam masala, chopped tomato, and green chilies. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
