    Hello!
This was my very first christmas without my family, and it was very lonely. But it was also my first christmas in Korea, though I hope that it is also the last🤣 Spending christmas with family and having my guy take time off of work is the best, I get to have all of my loving family around me. We did spend last christmas like that in Sweden and it was amazing🥰
Since we are saving money to move to Sweden in the future we have not wanted to spend any money on christmas decorations, espacially as we are hoping to spend christmas in Sweden next year. My parents sent us a few things that they didn't use and were very old, and in the package were also a bunch on Swedish snacks that we have already eaten.
There was very little christmas feeling in my heart, which is why I decided to go out and look at a little bit of christmas decorations in the city. Unfortunantly the city is so big that I could never go to all the places that i would want to see, it would take too much time. And also, most people in Korea does not celebrate christmas.
My guy is very confused why they have started to put up all these decorations around the city when christmas isn't even an official holiday in Korea. In many western countries christmas is a red day, but here in Korea it is just a normal day. But I'm very happy to be able to see some christmas decorations when being so far from my normal christmas celebration.
And if you are wondering, yes, in Sweden christmas is celebrated on december 24th not the 25th.
